Job Description

BryceTech is looking for a Project Management Support Level 3 to support AFWERX initiatives aimed at driving innovation and collaboration between the Department of Defense (DoD) and private sector. This position involves advanced project management support, ensuring that initiatives align with strategic goals, are executed effectively, and deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Project Coordination and Execution:
    • Assist in the development, implementation, and tracking of project plans, schedules, and budgets for AFWERX programs.
    • Coordinate project resources, timelines, and activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain essential project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and lessons learned.
    • Develop reports and presentations communicating project status, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and monitor project risks and issues, developing and executing mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams.
    • Regularly update the risk management plan and keep stakeholders informed about significant risks.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, government partners, and external stakeholders.
    • Organize and lead project meetings, briefings, and workshops to ensure alignment and gather feedback.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all project activities and deliverables adhere to AFWERX standards and best practices.
    • Conduct quality reviews and evaluations to identify enhancement opportunities for project processes.
  6. Mentorship and Training:
    • Support the development of junior project management staff through mentorship and training on project management methodologies and tools.
    • Assist in knowledge-sharing initiatives within the AFWERX community.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a focus on innovation and defense-related initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired Skills:

  • PMP or similar certification preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information succinctly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and foster positive relationships.

Specialized Tool Experience: Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar).

Additional Information

Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.

This position is subject to contract award.
