As our first Technical Program Manager, you’ll work closely with engineering and research teams to drive execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives. You will bring structure to ambiguity, build lightweight systems that grow with us, and ensure our most critical projects ship with quality and speed.
This is a high-ownership role where you’ll wear multiple hats — part strategist, part operator, part engineer-whisperer.
What You’ll DoOwn and drive execution of key programs across research, infrastructure, and product
Build and run planning rituals: quarterly planning, standups, retros, and reviews
Proactively manage timelines, scope, and risks across multi-team efforts
Partner with engineering and product to define requirements, milestones, and success metrics
Identify bottlenecks, manage interdependencies, and escalate issues as needed
Improve team velocity through documentation, tooling, and workflow improvements
Translate technical complexity into crisp communication for cross-functional stakeholders
4–8 years of experience in program or technical project management
Background in engineering or technical product management
Strong technical literacy — comfortable in technical conversations around infra, ML, and APIs
Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives in a startup or fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Ability to anticipate problems, de-risk plans, and bring calm to chaos
Bias toward action and systems thinking
Experience in ML, data infra, or devtools environments
Experience working closely with research teams
