Job Description

BryceTech is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Management Support Level 2 to provide comprehensive project management support to various AFWERX initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the broader technology community. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of various AFWERX projects to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  2. Documentation Management: Create, maintain, and organize project documentation, including project plans, schedules, reports, and presentations.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Budget Tracking: Support the monitoring and reporting of project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used effectively and efficiently.
  5. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze project data to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Risk Management: Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  7. Team Support: Provide support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, coordinating activities, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant project management or related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects of moderate to high complexity.

· Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and traditional PM methodologies.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

· Experience in a government or defense contracting environment.

· Familiarity with AFWERX initiatives and innovation ecosystems.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience briefing senior leaders.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-velocity, ambiguous environment.

Specialized Tool Experience: Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar).

Additional Information

Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.

This position is subject to contract award.
