The Project Execution Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all phases of project execution to ensure successful delivery of projects that meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives. This position serves as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders while providing leadership throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires regular travel to project sites to support field operations, monitor progress, conduct meetings, and ensure project objectives are achieved. Additionally, this role will collaborate with SAP experts to track material flow, develop reporting tools, and contribute to engineering and execution strategies that add value and enhance service levels across global operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:     

  • Lead and manage project execution activities from project kickoff through completion and closeout.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate activities among engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and client teams.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to address schedule, cost, quality, or safety concerns.
  • Ensure the communication links are strong between the fabrication shop and job site.
  • Support commercial offers in bid process, working with fabrication shops on cost effective delivery process
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, resolve field issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide timely communication regarding project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and change management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Support project commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout activities.
  • Support expediting with manufacturing plants and coordination of product delivery between projects
  • Check order/ fulfilment progress regularly and get involved in critical issue resolution
  • Provide input to SAP reporting tools to ensure GF can provide Sales Companies with major projects and key accounts sufficient information on material flow to meet project requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work at a high level with SAP to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Understanding of relevant products and applications.
  • Ability to discuss end-market specific technical details.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of project management, project execution, construction, industrial, or related experience.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, energy, construction, or infrastructure environments preferred.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
  • Work is performed in both office and field environments.
  • Regular travel to project sites is required and may range from 25% to 75% of working time, depending on project requirements.
  • Overnight and extended travel may be required for project assignments.
  • Ability to work at active construction, industrial, manufacturing, or client facilities.
  • Must be able to walk project sites, climb stairs and ladders, and navigate uneven terrain when necessary.
  • Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while visiting project sites.
  • May occasionally be required to work outside normal business hours to support project needs and critical milestones.
Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 + Bonus
