Responsibilities:
- Own site coordination between GEV and KAPES/KEPCO — representing GEV's interests as technology provider, driving issue resolution, and ensuring engineering and equipment delivered to site meets quality requirements.
- Manage equipment deliveries and the associated interface documentation, tracking missing or faulty material, supporting inspection checklists, and preparing progress reports as needed.
- Coordinate technical processes including Requests for Information (RFIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and as-built documentation, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication across teams.
- Support GEV site supervisors with work permitting, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance, and day-to-day site logistics — ensuring all GEV personnel work safely and in line with local regulations.
- Attend and contribute to regular progress meetings, keeping the GEV project team informed and escalating issues proactively to protect project timelines and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for immediate customer requests related to site matters, responding quickly to maintain trust and protect GEV's standing with KAPES and KEPCO.
Requirements:
- A formal education and subsequent degree in Engineering or a related technical field is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements in construction or infrastructure project environments.
- Proven experience working on construction or infrastructure project sites with communication skills to align diverse teams around a shared outcome, including direct interface with contractors or customers.
- Fluency in both Korean and English — written and spoken — to operate effectively across GEV's global teams and local stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-party technical processes (e.g., inspections, RFI or NCR management, or equivalent quality documentation workflows).
- Familiarity with EHS compliance requirements in a construction site context.
- Calm under pressure, fast to act, and confident navigating between technical teams and customer stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems or high-voltage electrical infrastructure.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or contractor-interface role on major energy or utilities projects.
- Knowledge of Korean regulatory and permitting requirements for large-scale construction sites.
