Summary
Grindr for Equality (G4E) is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our ever-evolving mission to promote justice, health, safety, and more for LGBTQ individuals around the globe. This role is an excellent opportunity for a smart, independent, self-motivated candidate to join G4E’s team on the ground floor as promoting social justice. You’ll have strong project coordination and calendaring skills to keep projects on track. You’ll work closely with our Marketing and Brand Partnerships & Advertising teams internally, and you’ll be able to build your network with LGBTQ leaders around the world. This position plays a vital role in driving success across the globe with 25% of time focused on the growth of our G4E mission across Latin America. This role will be based in our West Hollywood HQ.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Director of Grindr For Equality to assist in running safety messages, health-related messages, email campaigns, etc.
- Serve as primary support for all day-to-day operations of G4E team to fulfill business goals
- Act as the hub of communication and project management between the G4E team and Marketing and Brand Partnerships & Advertising teams.
- Responsible for calendar management for the department
- Tracks budgets, timelines and processes from kick-off to execution
- Establishes and maintains operations to ensure efficient and timely development and implementation of programs
- Take a leadership role in our Latin America program, building our network of partners and developing campaigns with them
Requirements
- 2 years of marketing program development, or social justice
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Strong time management and experience with budgets
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Open to Global travel 10% of the time
- Strong analytical and measurement/tracking skills
