Job Summary

BioLegend has an exciting new opportunity in our Custom Solutions team for a Custom Project Coordinator.

The Custom Project Coordinator will help coordinate product manufacturing to on time delivery and contribute BioLegend’s mission of providing legendary customer service. They will be manage for their own product/project pipeline.

The role will involve exposure to all areas of the business as well as being the key contact person for our customers, including VIP and biopharma accounts. There is potential for growth in various directions depending on the individual’s interest and area of specialization.

The successful individual will demonstrate high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to stay on top of multiple projects using project and customer management software.

Essential Functions

  • Create production orders
  • Run weekly reports on custom projects initiated and report status to supervisor with the goal to identify issues or bottlenecks and suggest solutions
  • Update and document changes to project specifications in a timely manner and relay to internal teams to ensure successful project completion
  • Support customer needs as a priority by ensuring timely responses to emails and phone calls
  • Other projects or responsibilities may be required based on business needs

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences
  • 1-3 years experience in the biotech or pharma industry

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • MS in Life Sciences
  • Experience in a lab environment
  • Experience with CRM software (SalesForce)
  • Experience with ERP software (Microsoft NAV Dynamics or D365)

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $23.00 - $30.75/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. 

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
