Your Role & Impact
As a Program and Resource Specialist you will screen patients for eligibility for all available programs and episodic coverage and enroll patients into the appropriate program. The Program and Resource Specialist ensure patients have the most appropriate financial resources to continue seeking care at TrueCare on a continued basis. The Program and Resource Specialist will screen for programs such as Medi-Cal, Covered CA, PFPACT, CHDP, and any other episodic programs available at TrueCare. Additionally, Program and Resource Specialist will explain the program and specifics to each patient as necessary.
What We’re Looking For

  • High school graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology, and data entry training preferred.
  • Employee will be required to travel between all TrueCare’s sites and locations therefore a CA Driver’s License, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
  • Certified Enrollment Counselor or eligible for certification within three months of hire.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of all ages and social and ethnic backgrounds, including patients, medical staff, co-workers, and the public.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

The pay range for this role is $23 - $32.20 on an hourly basis.
