What You’ll Do
  • Lead astronomy, Earth observation, and national space programs from proposal through execution, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical excellence
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams, identify resource constraints, and drive solutions to meet program milestones
  • Serve as the primary business and technical point of contact for customers, ensuring strong relationships and satisfaction
  • Present program status, risks, and solution approaches to customers and internal leadership
  • Lead proposal development, including pricing activities and technical/management content
  • Support contract negotiations, compliance, forecasting, and ERP‑based program tracking
  • Contribute to marketing and business development efforts, including trade shows and customer engagements
What You Need
  • B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Physics or Engineering with 10+ years in high‑technology environments
  • 5+ years managing complex, multifaceted programs involving advanced or unique technologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate across organizational boundaries
  • PMP certification preferred; EVMS experience or certification strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of infrared focal plane arrays and semiconductor device physics strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and ERP systems

Salary Range:

$120,300.00-$160,400.000
