How You Fit In:

As the Program Director - Wholesale Technology, you will own the systems, integrations, and workflows that enable global wholesale growth. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and operations—driving solution design, ensuring system readiness, and scaling processes across OMS, ERP, WMS, PLM/PIM, and wholesale partner platforms.

You will provide strategic direction while maintaining hands-on engagement to guide requirements, support teams, and ensure high-quality delivery.

This position will report to the Sr. Product Management Director

What You Will Do:

Strategic Requirements & Solution Leadership:

  • Lead discovery and requirements definition across Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, Merchandising, and Finance.

  • Translate complex workflows into clear technical requirements, integration logic, and scalable solution designs.

  • Drive future-state process mapping and data flow design to support global expansion and partner readiness.

Systems & Data Governance:

  • Oversee product data integrity and governance across OMS, ERP, PLM/PIM, and wholesale partner feeds.

  • Establish standards for item setup, UPCs, GTINs, pricing, content, and compliance data.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that enhance visibility and decision-making at scale.

Integration Ownership:

  • Provide senior oversight for wholesale partner integrations, including scoping, testing, deployment, and enhancements.

  • Monitor integration performance, resolve high-impact issues, and guide root-cause elimination in partnership with Technology and vendor teams.

  • Recommend integration tooling and architectural improvements to increase scalability and reduce manual work.

Global Operations Support:

  • Oversee setup of routing, labeling, ASN automation, and compliance logic within OMS/WMS and partner systems.

  • Own systemic improvements to global fulfillment workflows, optimizing accuracy, speed, and cost.

  • Partner with operations leaders to resolve escalations and strengthen end-to-end fulfillment processes

Program Leadership & Roadmap Execution:

  • Lead the wholesale technology roadmap, prioritizing initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and driving delivery.

  • Anticipate dependencies, identify risks early, and maintain executive-level visibility into progress.

  • Champion adoption and change management across global teams to ensure successful rollout of new systems and workflows

What You Can Bring:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in wholesale operations, technical operations, business systems, integrations, or supply chain technology.

  • Proven leadership driving complex, cross-functional systems initiatives end-to-end.

  • Strong fluency across OMS, ERP, WMS, PLM/PIM, and EDI/API workflows.

  • Demonstrated expertise in gathering requirements, designing scalable processes, and leading implementation efforts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels

  • Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with wholesale and supply chain platforms such as NuORDER, Centric, BlueCherry, Oracle, or comparable systems

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools (e.g., Airtable, Parabola)

  • Comfort with data validation and reporting; SQL experience is a plus

What Success Looks Like:

  • Clean, reliable product and operational data across global wholesale systems

  • Faster, more accurate wholesale partner onboarding and integration performance

  • Meaningful reduction in manual workflows through automation and process optimization

  • Continuous improvement in global fulfillment accuracy and compliance

  • Wholesale technology roadmap initiatives delivered on time with clarity and technical rigor

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
