Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is seeking a Principal Program Controls Cost Analyst (P3) within the Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) portfolio of the Raytheon business.


The position will provide financial analysis and reporting for a portfolio of programs and support program cost, schedule, forecasting, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), and program controls activities.


What You Will Do:

  • Provide financial analysis and reporting for a portfolio of programs, including all elements of cost.
  • Support monthly program status reviews, Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews, and Program Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development.
  • Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) cost and schedule analysis across production programs in accordance with applicable EVMS requirements.
  • Support management with the preparation and submission of monthly financial forecasts.
  • Support special projects, including Gate Reviews, proposals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, invoicing, balance sheet activities, and funding analysis.
  • Support the cash management process, including invoicing and monitoring customer receipts.
  • Support cost strategy activities for competitive and strategic proposals.
  • Prepare financial analysis and reporting for program management and functional organizations.
  • Analyze program cost and schedule data and communicate variances to established financial plans and forecasts.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience; or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
  • Experience using SAP financial systems, including APEX, PRISM, and/or Business Warehouse/Analysis for Office (BW/AO).
  • Experience using Raytheon PMX or a similar financial management system.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), program controls, cost and schedule management, and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes.
  • EVMS certification or the ability to obtain EVMS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience preparing and presenting financial briefings to management, customers, and peers.
  • Experience using SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), APEX, and/or APEX EV.
  • Experience using PMX for program financial management, forecasting, or reporting.
  • Experience managing multiple financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities with established deadlines.
  • Experience with cost and schedule analysis for production programs.
  • Experience with monthly financial forecasting and Estimate at Completion (EAC) development.
  • Experience supporting proposal cost estimates, Gate Reviews, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.
  • Experience with program invoicing, customer receipts, cash management, balance sheet activities, or funding analysis.
  • Experience analyzing financial and program data and developing supporting recommendations.
  • Experience with Raytheon Technologies projects, programs, financial systems, or program controls processes.
  • Experience applying financial systems and program controls processes to program reporting and analysis.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
