We’re looking for a Product Strategist to join the Snap Lab team.! As a member of the Product Strategy team, you will work across all Snap Lab products to identify and evaluate new opportunities and to shape our overall product strategy. You’ll lead our strategic planning process, performance analysis, and develop and communicate recommendations that will directly shape our decisions and directions around the future of Snap’s hardware products. Working from our Venice office, you’ll collaborate with product, marketing and engineering teams to help define our strategic roadmap and communicate it to different stakeholders across the organization through presentations and documentation.
What you’ll do:
Lead the short and long-term strategic planning for Snap Lab
Develop and package recommendations for Snap Lab and Snap’s senior leadership
Conduct market research and market landscape analysis
Translate insights into valuable product and business recommendations
Collaborate with Product Strategy, Design, User Experience, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to assess impact for planned product changes
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Exceptional analytical thinking abilities
Strong written and visual communication skills
Exceptional presentation skills
Ability to work in both Microsoft & Google Suite
Intellectual curiosity and great business judgement
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years experience in product management, product strategy, or product consulting
Experience developing business strategy for technology or consumer electronics companies
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related advanced degree
Experience working with consumer electronics products
Experience translating data into actionable business insights
Experience developing strategic documents and presentations
A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
