Trust & Safety’s mission is to keep Snapchatters safe and ensure that Snapchatters can trust their interactions with businesses, the rest of our community, and Snap. We’re looking for a passionate Product Manager to drive critical Trust & Safety infrastructure and suite of user safety and integrity products.
As a Product Manager on our Trust & Safety team, you will build and ship innovative products by working with cross-functional leaders in engineering, data science, and policy. You will also own critical platform services such as in-app reporting, review tool systems and grow Snap’s proactive abuse detection systems. You’ll collaborate with Customer Operations, Engineering, and our product teams to help keep Snapchatters safe. This is an influential and strategic role within the Moderation team.
What you’ll do:
Develop goals, strategy and roadmaps for the Trust & Safety area
Set metrics that inform the success and impact of safety efforts
Lead cross-functional teams to build systems to proactively detect, mitigate, and help people report safety issues
Work closely with Trust & Safety engineering team to drive day-to-day execution against OKRs
Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Customer Operations, Legal, Engineering, and Data Science.
Closely monitor and measure results of all features and infrastructure improvements
Develop and present go-forward recommendations with key stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to deliver exceptional results in an intense but collaborative and kind environment
Ability to work cross collaborate with engineers, policy, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams
Excellent critical thinking skills and a proven ability to solve challenging problems
Ability to make timely decisions without clear direction or all the information at all times
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
5+ years of product management, data science or program management experience at a technology company
Experience building products for Trust & Safety
Experience building large scale review tools and infrastructure
