Product Manager, Snap Kit

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the core experiences of Snap’s Developer Platform: Snap Kit. You’ll partner with engineering, design, partnerships, marketing, comms, our broader product team and external partners to translate and drive the high level vision for Snap Kit into an actionable long-term plan and continuously lead the execution of the plan. You’ll be responsible for building a robust developer ecosystem around Snapchat that drives success for our developers, and the communities they serve.
What you’ll do:
Own and drive the overall success for Snap Kit
Create new strategies, product initiatives, and programs to optimize our developer experience
Create and manage feature backlog and drive roadmap planning for our APIs, SDKs, and other core Snap Kit offerings, include Login Kit, Creative Kit and our Developer Portal
Mange our API/SDK versioning, deprecation and documentation strategies to maximize our developer experience
Work with Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing teams to build, test, and launch the highest impact new products
Work with PMM and Partnerships to assemble deep set of learnings from our partners
Present and evangelize thorough and robust go-forward recommendations on roadmap, product and marketing strategy
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Exceptional leadership skills with proven ability to lead cross-functional, high-performing teams
Proven ability to translate a high-level strategy into concrete milestones and deliver results with limited oversight and guidance
Extraordinary communication skills and experience presenting complex topics to broad audiences; both internal and external
Ability to own and direct a complex platform product and drive success across all stakeholders within the ecosystem
Excellent critical thinking skills and a proven ability to solve challenging problems
Ability to make timely decisions without clear direction or all the information at all times
Ability to effectively cross collaborate with engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree in a technical field, economics, science, psychology, or mathematics or equivalent experience
4+ years of product management experience at platform focused technology companies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing product-driven quantitative and qualitative analysis
Experience managing and growing developer focused products
Development experience and knowledge of best practices for SDK delivery and integration
