Product Manager, Growth
We're seeking a Product Manager, Growth Analyst to Identify the opportunities most important for growth, to remove barriers for product adoption, retention, engagement, and/or monetization, and work closely with our growth-focused Marketing lead and engineering to execute on projects based on what’s identified to accelerate the growth and adoption of SimplePractice
What you'll do day-to-day
- You’ll be helping solo and group practitioners help people lead healthier lives every day.
- You’ll be a part of SimplePractice’s growth, the team is on track to double this year
- You’ll experience huge learning & professional development opportunities by devising hands-on experiments alongside the Director of Growth Design
- You’ll applying gaming theory, “nudges”, celebrations, and other mechanics to improve the onboarding process
- You will learn a tremendous amount in a short time as experiments are in constant motion, with the goal being to apply learning and iterate continually. For those who value and excel in transparent, high-intensity, and high-impact environments, there is significant opportunity for impact.
Initial Responsibilities
- Designing and assessing the impact of A/B experiments in a product development cycle
- Making analytical, data-driven decisions and communicating the results of analyses
- Delivering growth on the most important top-line company KPI's
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users onboard to SimplePractice
- Understand funnels, ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends in the adoption of our products to identify opportunities for step-changes and angle changes in growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to scope new features and inform the product roadmap through analysis, make recommendations on trade-offs between different strategic priorities, help determine the business logic of new features
Responsibilities that can be earned with time
- Delivering growth on the most important top-line company KPI's
- Communicating analytical, data-driven decisions and results of analyses to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Identify opportunities for the Director of Growth Design to pursue.
- Influence and inform the Director of Growth Design through data-based recommendations.
- Identify and drive initiatives to enhance SimplePractice’s data ecosystem.
Requirements
- Understanding of acquisition / retention KPIs and funnels
- Growth/optimization mindset; enjoys going deeply analytical
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and intellectual curiosity
- Proactive team player who enjoys working with peers and other key stakeholders to design and execute against evolving business needs
- 2+ years experience working with a team of engineers, designers, and data analysts to design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests on landing pages, funnels, notifications, and other methods.
- 2+ years experience doing quantitative analysis with solid hands-on SQL
- Basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge to build and launch simple web experiments
- Nice to have - Knowledge of Periscope and/or Mixpanel
- Nice to have - Experience in a startup strongly preferred
- Nice to have - Experience marketing a B2C subscription product
- Ideal candidate - BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field or 2+ years equivalent technical work experience
- Ideal candidate - Entry level knowledge of artificial intelligence and/or natural language processing
