As a Principal Product Manager on the Platform Tribe you will own initiatives to build Foundational Services and Components that grow the ServiceTitan Platform to scale, supporting the needs of our customers and internal development teams.
This impactful role requires strong and proactive leadership and the ability to independently drive large, cross-functional product initiatives. It is a critical role that will underpin our efforts to delight our customers and enable ServiceTitan's continued market expansion.
What you'll do:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and execution of a related set of platform solutions.
  • Independently execute across all areas of the product lifecycle (research, concept, requirements, user stories, development, go-to-market, adoption).
  • Work closely with customers and stakeholders to identify and understand problem areas.
  • Leverage user analytics to understand pain points and identify opportunities to achieve data driven goals.
  • Create and present business cases to recommend new investment areas.
  • Take ownership and accountability over the overall performance and availability of your functionality.
  • Proactively surface and resolve conflicts / bottlenecks.
  • Effectively assess customer escalations and impact to roadmap, allocate resources accordingly for resolution.
  • Represent ServiceTitan as a domain and product expert with customers, prospects, and in our online community.
  • Build strong working relationships with developers, designers, UX researchers, legal, security, and other teams as required.
  • Drive success and adoption of your products by working closely with product marketing managers in creating launch plans and with enablement managers in creating training plans.


What you'll need:

  • 5+ years experience in a product management role preferably in B2B SaaS with a strong track record of shipping new products and features.
  • Strong technical background (a technical degree is preferred) with an; understanding of system design (especially effective extensibility), ability to define clear functional standards, aptitude with APIs, knowledge of modular multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
  • Strong persuasive communicator and can effectively communicate with different work styles to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to rapidly gain a deep understanding of the problem space, and craft a compelling product vision and roadmap for all audiences.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, customer success, go-to-market, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically, to synthesize data and draw insights, formulate scope and requirements, and validate hypotheses based on data.
  • Strong planning skills and demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain close attention to detail, and drive work on multiple pieces of functionality in parallel that are at different stages in the product lifecycle.
  • Self-motivation, a goal-oriented focus, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
  • Proven ability to deliver on commitments and timelines
  • Ability to manage junior PMs with little to no support.
  • Exude leadership qualities; professionalism, positive attitude, proactivity, critical thinking, strategic thinking, and influence.

The expected salary range for this role is between $137,000 - $196,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
