The Director of Product Strategy - Market Expansion is an integral, highly-visible role contributing to the overall success of ServiceTitan's Product Strategy. This leader will lead a team and explore, prioritize, and develop product strategy for ServiceTitan's newest areas of growth: commercial, construction, new verticals, international and any other areas that are new for ServiceTitan. This individual will support senior product leaders in the market expansion space. The individual has a well-rounded background -- including analytic rigor and strategic thinking -- drawing key elements from roles such as management consulting, corporate strategy/development, and business operations. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to drive new growth opportunities, helping ServiceTitan continue to expand to new markets, verticals, or geographies.
What you'll do:

  • Develop and build a 1-3-5 year product strategy for current and future Market Expansion initiatives in partnership with senior product leadership
  • Develop business cases that dive deeper into recommendations on new products and services based on various research and analyses, including TAM analysis, customer demand, custom segmentation, etc.
  • Establish and maintain a global framework of key dimensions/criteria used to evaluate and prioritize build of new products and services -- dimensions such as market sizing, product fit, competition, strategic value, etc.
  • Partner with the product team to identify and roadmap product features and prioritize them based on level of effort, customer impact, customer need etc.
  • Collaborate across ServiceTitan (revenue, customer success, enablement, etc) to maintain product strategy and understand customer needs
  • Dive deep into our customers' problems to understand how our product should develop
  • Speak the language of product with sales, product management, and engineering team


What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of work experience in management consulting, corporate strategy/development, business operations or similar role
  • Experience leading a high performing team
  • Experience in B2B technology market environments with exposure to Software or SaaS businesses preferred
  • Prior experience working with product teams is a plus
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a dynamic working environment; know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
  • Demonstrated excellence in cross-functional communication, with the ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels
  • This is a fully remote position and we are open to candidates across the US

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role is between $150,000 - $216,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
