Overview

PerfectServe is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our Operator Console STO (single threaded owner) team. In this role, you will support the planning, development, and delivery of solutions that streamline communication workflows for hospital operators, switchboard staff, and healthcare contact centers.

As a Product Owner, you will work closely with product leaders, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to help define user stories, manage the product backlog, and contribute to the evolution of our operator console platform. This is a great opportunity to develop product leadership skills while making a meaningful impact on healthcare communication efficiency and patient access.

Essential Functions
  • Partner with Product Owners to manage and groom the engineering backlog for one or more R&D teams.

  • Translate customer, stakeholder, and business needs into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, QA, and cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and priorities.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including program increment planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives.

  • Assist in reviewing and accepting delivered stories to ensure they meet quality and functional expectations.

  • Monitor and analyze usage data, customer feedback, and support trends to inform future backlog items.

  • Contribute to internal documentation such as product requirements, release notes, and training materials.

  • Support Product Owners in roadmap planning and release coordination.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, software delivery, or healthcare platforms.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Comfortable working with data, asking questions, and making evidence-based decisions.

  • A desire to learn product best practices and grow into a full Product Owner role.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with or knowledge of call center software platforms or Twilio.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar agile tools (Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Monday).

  • Exposure to SaaS or healthcare technology solutions.

  • Knowledge of hospital operations, contact center workflows, or telecommunications systems is a plus.

  • Understanding of operator console functionalities or healthcare communication routing is a bonus.

  • CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification or equivalent is a bonus.

We offer a salary range of $80,000-120,000 per year, with compensation tailored to your background, strengths, and potential to grow within the team.
The salary range listed for this role reflects our commitment to pay transparency and is based on market data, internal equity, and the scope of responsibilities. compensation will be determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, and the specific team or product area they support.
