Position Summary

Astrica is seeking a Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant to own the definition and delivery of client HRSD solutions across the full solution lifecycle. This hybrid, billable role combines pre-sales and delivery responsibilities, supporting sales teams with discovery, solution definition, estimation, proposals, and contracts, while also partnering with delivery teams to ensure ServiceNow engagements deliver measurable value.

The ideal candidate will specialize in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and act as the primary liaison between the ServiceNow platform team and HR business stakeholders. With a focus on Employee Workflows—including HR case management, Employee Center Pro experiences, preboarding/onboarding journey design, and Workday HCM integration—this role guides clients through HR service delivery transformation.

Astrica Product Owners leverage deep HR process expertise and organizational change management skills to prescribe best practices, evaluate employee experience innovations, and serve as trusted HR functional advisors. They define customer needs, drive next-generation HRSD solutions, and contribute to expanding organizational ServiceNow HRSD capabilities.

What you’ll do:

  • Own Product Delivery: Partner with clients to understand business needs, define user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritize backlogs, and ensure delivery teams build the right HRSD solutions on ServiceNow. Serve as the HR business process SME throughout the engagement, with deep expertise in employee lifecycle management, HR case workflows, and employee self-service capabilities.
  • Lead HRSD Workshops & Discovery: Facilitate functional discovery sessions and employee journey workshops, leveraging Astrica’s agile methodology to design preboarding, onboarding, and comprehensive HR case management workflows. Translate HR requirements into actionable solution specifications for Employee Center Pro, Agent Workspace for HR, and Workday integration scenarios.
  • Advocate for HR Best Practices: Define industry and client-specific HR processes, identify opportunities to optimize employee experience, and guide HR service delivery improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Enable and Support HR Teams: Deliver training sessions, workshops, and documentation for HR end-users and IT staff to ensure adoption of HRSD capabilities and integrated Workday workflows.
  • Drive Quality Solutions: Participate in functional testing, oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), and support deployment and go-live activities to ensure a smooth transition to ServiceNow HRSD.
  • Pre-Sales Solutioning & Advisory: Partner with Astrica leadership to shape solution approaches, estimate work, present value to prospective clients, and draft clear, accurate contracts balancing client goals with delivery feasibility.
  • Trusted Advisor! Act as a partner to client executives—able to shift seamlessly between product conversations, strategic discussions, and business value storytelling.
  • Voice of the client! Serve as the trusted point of contact for client escalations, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Contract Creation! Draft clear, accurate, and compelling contracts that balance client goals with delivery feasibility.

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Sr. Product Owner or Sr. Solution Consultant managing client engagements and opportunities; with at least 3+ years of ServiceNow platform experience for HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module and Employee Workflows suite.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required) and CSA or higher preferred, with hands-on experience performing Product Owner responsibilities, including backlog management, user story definition, stakeholder alignment, and coaching technical resources on HRSD configuration and development.
  • Deep understanding of HR business processes, including employee lifecycle management, case management, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and HR service delivery best practices. Experience with Workday or other major HCM system integrations and employee data flows.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodology, including leading sprint planning, refining stories against HR business requirements, splitting epics, ordering HRSD development, and overseeing code migrations and defect remediation.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and own proposals, SOWs, and contract extensions, with strong writing and PowerPoint skills to create polished, client-facing materials. Ability to lead discovery sessions, translate client objectives into solution recommendations, and drive scoping and estimation.
  • Strong ability to build trust, resolve escalations, and maintain positive client relationships. Skilled at leading HR workshops and independent client meetings.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and calm, adaptable approach. Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
  • Background in pricing strategy, proposal development, or pre-sales support.
  • Ability to act as a bridge between sales, delivery, and clients to ensure successful outcomes across the contract and project lifecycle.

Extra Awesome:

  • ServiceNow HRSD certifications (CIS-HRSD) and Employee Center Pro experience
  • ITIL v3 / 4 certification with HR service delivery application
  • Experience with multiple ServiceNow application areas, particularly Employee Workflows and Now Platform capabilities
  • HR industry knowledge and certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR credentials)
  • Experience with Workday Spoke configuration and HCM integration patterns

Where You’ll Work
We’re a remote-first team, which means you can do your best work from wherever you’re happiest and most productive. Every now and then, we may ask you to join us on-site with a client—but those moments are the exception, not the rule. Flexibility is built in, because we know life doesn’t fit neatly into a 9–5.

What the Work Looks Like
Most of your day will be spent collaborating online, building smart solutions, and occasionally traveling (up to 10%) if a project needs you in person. Otherwise, it’s you, your laptop, and your favorite coffee mug.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive pay that reflects your skills and certifications
  • Performance bonuses and annual reviews that celebrate growth
  • Unlimited vacation + flexible time off (because balance matters)
  • Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) coverage
  • Career development support and learning incentives to keep you sharp

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
