About You:

Nutrafol is seeking a highly skilled D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Product Owner to join our ERP transformation journey moving from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O for our Phase 1 go-live. This role will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for D365 F&O, ensuring a successful go-live, seamless transition into business-as-usual (BAU) operations, and leading future implementation phases to optimize the future of Nutrafol’s financial and operational systems across the organization.

Day-to-day, you will play a key role in driving adoption, supporting business continuity post–go-live, and partnering across Nutrafol, Unilever (parent company), and the broader Wellbeing Collective (WBC) teams. This role requires the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable solutions within D365 while balancing the needs of a high-growth, dynamic environment.

Beyond overseeing day-to-day project execution, you will also own the strategic product roadmap, ensuring maximum business value and user adoption. You’ll act as a critical bridge between Nutrafol, other WBC business verticals, Unilever’s technical teams and third party delivery partners to deliver a successful, integrated ERP platform that meets compliance requirements. This role will report to our CTO.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the D365 Product Strategy, including defining and maintaining the product roadmap for Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring alignment with Nutrafol’s operational and financial objectives as well as Unilever’s broader platform strategy.
  • Lead the QuickBooks-to-D365 Migration, you’ll manage the end-to-end transition process, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, training, and post-deployment support.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into solutions, working with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, etc.) to capture business needs and configure D365 to meet or exceed those requirements
  • Collaborate and be a thought-partner with Unilever and brands within the Health & Wellbeing unit, discussing challenges and provide progress status updates
  • Ensure that Nutrafol’s implementation compliments and leverages best practices from other D365 implementations within Unilever’s Health & Wellbeing group.
  • Drive continuous improvement, by identifying and prioritizing new features and enhancements, that optimize the D365 environment and related business processes.
  • Be a lead in the go-to D365 expert for SC/Ops and Finance functions, offering guidance and support to stakeholders during design, change management, and adoption phases.
  • Oversee change management, including developing and delivering effective communications, training, and documentation to teams, to ensure seamless adoption across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst/Technical Product role with a solid understanding of end-to-end business operational and financial processes, ideally in CPG, Manufacturing, Wholesale, or Retail company; DTC and eCommerce experience is a plus
  • 4+ years of D365 implementation experience and a proven track record in configuring, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly focusing on Supply Chain/Operations and Finance teams
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce, direct to consumer (DTC) models combined with more traditional CPG sales functions.
  • Highly collaborative approach & natural stakeholder management skills; you’re a skilled communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders of all levels, including global teams and parent-company partners.
  • Ability to articulate a strategic vision for the D365 platform, weigh competing priorities, and make data-driven decisions that align with broader organizational goals
  • Experience leading at least one successful ERP migration project, preferably from QuickBooks to D365; familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise data structures, financial workflows, and common migration challenges required
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
