What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in driving large scale, cross-functional transformation blending business operations and technology together.
  • 5+ years of experience in interpreting and documenting business requirements into functional user stories.
  • Create, manage and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to help document existing process and recommend system process enhancements.
  • Act as a business owner for internal and consumer facing systems/applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence.
  • Ability to analyze complex business situations and drive practical and innovative solution.
  • Passionate about driving a premium, personal and compliant consumer, customer, agent and associate experiences.

Impact You'll Make:

TransUnion is looking for a highly motivated scale and transformation minded Product Owner to join our Global Operations team. This multidimensional role will work closely in different business units with a focus on business processes enhancement. They will also be the thought leader on how our various technologies work together and help to drive premium experiences for our customers, consumers, agents and associates.
The incumbent will work closely with the key business teams to develop business requirements for application enhancement that will feed our company strategy of driving scale, standardization, and global expansion. Additionally, they will act as the business owner for existing consumer technologies and will lead user acceptance testing, issue management and post deployment validation activities. This role will require working cross-functionally to support projects and help with enhancing our consumer facing and contact center technologies.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Consult, influence and interpret the business vision and strategy in partnership with business leaders.
  • Plan, guide, and facilitate interactive discovery meetings including the exploration of current as-is business processes and challenges, operational models and technology, training and testing sessions.
  • Drive and deliver cross-functional target-state design sessions.
  • Establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Collaborate and take the lead on initiatives to further mature our ability to support internal and consumer facing applications
  • Partner with architecture teammates and adjacent subject matter area experts to extend bench strength through teaching, training and cultivating collaboration spaces in different subject areas.
  • Define program policies and documentation of best practices within your business domain with business stakeholders. This includes support of: business engagement framework, business capability inventory and business process diagrams

The expected pay range for this position is $74,000 - $101,500 annually. The pay information provided for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of expected compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of many factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. In addition, variable compensation is based on applicable company guidance and plan documents as well as performance.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
