About the Role

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will contribute to the planning and execution of product messaging for the Professional Install Products Team. You will be responsible for marketing strategy, technical writing, content development, presentations, and more across the Professional Install portfolio. The role is a great fit for those looking to broaden their technical and marketing skills and help define the way our AMX, AKG, BSS, Crown, and JBL products are positioned and sold. In this role, you will report to the Product Marketing Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
  • Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, and market characteristics
  • Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
  • Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards
  • Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success
  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement
  • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Pro AV Integration space
  • Deep product application knowledge and understanding of full system solutions
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
  • Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques
  • Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail

Bonus Points if You Have

  • BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or related field

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 15%, domestic and international travel
  • Willingness to work in an office (flexible) in Northridge, CA preferred
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Salary Ranges:

$ 94,500 - $ 138,600
