Summary of Role:

We are seeking a Product Marketing Principal Specialist to lead the go-to-market tactics in support of the five GlobalFoundries’ product lines. This role involves positioning, messaging and promoting technical solutions to customers. As a key liaison between product line product marketing (PLPM), product management and sales, you will translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions that drive product adoption and market growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical product positioning and messaging:

  • Partner with PLPM to translate technical product features into customer benefits and develop clear, compelling product positioning that resonates with customers.

  • Manages product brand names, trademarks and nomenclature.

Go-to-market tactics:

  • Own the go-to-market tactics for product launches and feature rollouts, ensuring alignment across marketing, product and sales teams. This includes updating all customer-facing content.

  • Partner with PLPM to define and manage whole product requirements and ensure strict adherence.

Content development:

  • Owns the creation and maintenance (in partnership with PLMP) of all customer-facing content, including but not limited to product web content, technical sales kits, technology platform briefs and customer success stories.

  • Work with product lines and R&D to create content for the annual GlobalFoundries’ Technology Summits, manages all post-production GTS content including slides and videos.

Collaboration with stakeholders:

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and R&D to understand product roadmaps and upcoming innovations and partnerships.

  • Serve as the bridge between product teams, marketing and communications, ensuring brand and technical and brand integrity of all marketing materials.

  • Partner with Brand Manager to align branding and trademark usage.

  • Partner with Corporate Communications on all product news and technical content marketing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, marketing, or a related field (MBA or technical certification is a plus).

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably for highly technical products in industries.

  • Strong understanding of technical product life cycles or hardware engineering.

  • Proven track record of developing go-to-market processes for technical products.

  • Ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience working closely with sales, product management, engineering, marketing and communications teams to bring technical products to market.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B marketing within the technology, software, or electronics industry.

  • Proficiency in working with technical documentation, engineering resources, and development teams.

  •  Ability to manage multiple product marketing initiatives simultaneously, with a strong focus on technical accuracy and clarity.

Expected Salary Range

$66,800.00 - $120,700.00
