Who Are We Looking For

WebPT has been the trusted partner of rehab therapy professionals for nearly two decades, and we're not slowing down — the future of rehab therapy is being built right here, and we're the ones building it. As a leader in AI platform development in the healthcare space, we're transforming the way rehab therapy practices operate, and we're looking for people who are as energized by that mission as we are.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will support the go-to-market strategy for WebPT's product portfolio, with a focus on solutions that serve the rehab therapy market. This role is ideal for an emerging product marketer who understands how AI is reshaping industries, is eager to be part of that evolution, and has a passion for connecting the right message with the right audience.

To be successful in this role, you must develop a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs to support go-to-market strategies across multiple product lines. You will help communicate the benefits of new products and feature updates to both internal and external audiences. In this role, you'll collaborate across the product lifecycle and work closely with Product Managers, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.

What You’ll Be Doing As A Part Of Our Team

  • Support the go-to-market strategy for WebPT's product portfolio across the rehab therapy market.
  • Work cross-functionally to support the go-to-market strategy for new solutions and feature launches, contributing to planning and execution.
  • Partner with Marketing to help develop product positioning, buyer personas, and differentiation messaging that supports the selling process. Support marketing campaigns and events, including tradeshows and webinars.
  • Enable the Sales and Success teams to win. Help ensure they understand the messaging, positioning, and pricing in the market, and can articulate the value of WebPT's solutions.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Research and maintain up-to-date competitive intelligence across WebPT's product lines, with a particular eye on how AI is reshaping the competitive landscape. Understand what competitive offerings exist in the market and help develop strategies to compete successfully.
  • Support win/loss analysis efforts by gathering and synthesizing data on why prospects choose WebPT or a competitor. Contribute findings to improve acquisition and retention campaigns and inform the product roadmap.
  • Analyze market and Member feedback to make suggestions on how to best position and communicate our software offerings to meet Member expectations and increase product usage.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to share findings from market research and contribute to roadmap discussions.

What You Should Have to Qualify

    • Two to three years of previous B2B SaaS product marketing experience, preferably in the software/tech industry.
    • Familiarity with the rehab therapy market or a strong interest in developing deep expertise in the space.
    • A genuine curiosity about how AI is evolving and a strong desire to embrace AI tools and communicate their positive impact on the clinicians and practices we serve.
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field — or equivalent years of experience.
    • Experience supporting product positioning and competitive analysis.
    • Exposure to building and executing go-to-market strategies.
    • Experience collaborating effectively across functions like sales and product management to achieve results.
    • Experience working with cross-functional Marketing teams to deliver programs.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be comfortable presenting to groups.
    • Be a team player and work well with a highly collaborative team.
    • Be organized, ahead of schedule, communicative, and accountable.
    • Willingness to travel to local and/or out-of-area WebPT customer clinics for in-person engagement and research.
    • Ability to learn the WebPT application inside and out.
    • Strong customer service skills, including active listening and the ability to offer clear, reassuring communication.
    • Willingness to manage change, grow with the company, and remain focused under pressure.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

    • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
    • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
    • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
    • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
    • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
    • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
