As a Product Marketing Manager, you are the strategic engine driving the intersection of product development and consumer demand. You will own the end-to-end Go-To-Market (GTM) lifecycle for wireless products, including device launches, national rate plans, and Value-Added Services (VAS). By translating consumer data into high-impact 'hero messaging' and curating OEM-backed marketing plans (Apple, Samsung, Google, Moto), you will accelerate sales performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for new wireless products, plans, and services
  • Define positioning, messaging, and differentiation that communicate clear consumer and business value
  • Partner with product, channels, pricing, care, and brand marketing to align initiatives with customer needs
  • Drive cross-functional launch readiness across internal and external channels
  • Lead campaign integration, including messaging frameworks, creative briefs, and promotional strategies
  • Monitor product performance, market feedback, and industry trends to refine positioning and improve adoption
  • Manage lifecycle strategies that improve acquisition, retention, and upsell opportunities
  • Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to identify trends, usage behaviors, and opportunities
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that influence pricing, product features, and marketing programs
  • Partner with analytics teams to measure campaign and product performance, adjusting tactics as needed
  • Develop compelling content such as solution briefs, presentations, FAQs, sales tools, and customer-facing assets
  • Support sales and channel teams with training, collateral, and messaging to drive product adoption
  • Collaborate with digital and demand gen teams on campaigns that generate leads and nurture the pipeline
  • Act as the bridge between product management, marketing, and sales teams
  • Ensure alignment on product roadmaps, GTM priorities, and customer experience initiatives
  • Contribute to building brand consistency and awareness across all customer touchpoints

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus)
  • 5+ years of product marketing or similar experience

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record launching and managing consumer-facing products and services
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership abilities
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and can manage multiple priorities

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
