JOB SUMMARY

In the role of Manager, Product Marketing, you will be responsible for driving the success of our products in the market by developing and executing strategic marketing plans that effectively communicate their value proposition and drive demand. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, create compelling messaging and content, and enable the sales team to effectively sell the product. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of strategic thinking, creativity, analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies that align with market demands and drive adoption of the product.

  • Create compelling messaging and content that effectively communicates the product's value proposition to target customers.

  • Collaborate with product management to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with market needs.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop sales enablement materials and marketing campaigns that drive demand and accelerate growth.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales performance, market share, and customer satisfaction, and optimize marketing strategies based on performance data and market feedback.

  • Collaborate with pricing teams to determine optimal pricing strategies and define product packaging and bundling strategies.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUTABLE FOR ACHIEVING

  • Market Penetration: Increase market share and penetration within target segments by implementing targeted marketing campaigns and strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.

  • Product Adoption and Growth: Drive product adoption and usage among target customers, resulting in increased revenue and customer lifetime value.

  • Go-to-Market Success: Ensure successful product launches by developing comprehensive go-to-market plans, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and distribution strategies, resulting in strong initial sales performance.

  • Competitive Positioning: Establish the product as a market leader or key player within its competitive landscape through effective differentiation and value proposition communication.

  • Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary training, tools, and resources to effectively sell the product, resulting in increased sales effectiveness and performance.

  • Content Creation and Engagement: Develop high-quality marketing collateral and content that resonates with target audiences, resulting in increased engagement, leads, and conversions.

  • Customer Insights and Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback and market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies, resulting in improved product-market fit and customer satisfaction.

  • Marketing ROI: Measure and optimize marketing activities to maximize return on investment (ROI) and ensure efficient use of resources, resulting in improved marketing effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and synergy across all functions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine marketing strategies and tactics based on performance data, market feedback, and industry trends, resulting in ongoing optimization and improvement of marketing efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Banking and/or Fintech experience STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of product management and marketing principles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organization.

  • 20% travel
