Product Marketing Manager (PMM)

Location: Remote (US) or Draper, UT Hybrid

Team: Marketing, Product Marketing

Reports to: Sr. Director, Product and Partner Marketing

Compensation: $125,000 - $155,000

Role type: Full-time

About Jump

Jump's mission is to empower financial advisors and their clients to thrive in the age of AI. Our AI assistant helps financial advisors automate the client meeting cycle and other workflows, turning meetings, emails, and documents into structured data, automated workflows, and compliance-ready outputs.

Jump leads its category in market share and customer satisfaction, serving leading financial services firms. We're building the intelligence layer that powers the modern advisory firm, helping advisors save time, grow faster, and deliver better outcomes for their clients.

Jump's team values are:

High Velocity: You are self-driven, use good judgment, and deliver high-quality work at speed.

World Class: You demonstrate excellence, study what great looks like, continuously learn, and raise the bar for the team.

Direct + Kind + No Drama: You communicate directly and openly, act with and assume best intent, and handle conflict productively.

About the Role

Jump is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to make sure everything we build reaches the market with a clear story.

We ship fast, and monthly releases are the heartbeat of the product. That velocity is only an advantage if the market hears about it. Meanwhile, the way advisors discover software is changing. They're still searching, but they're also asking AI assistants what to buy.

You'll own release communication, the product content library our sellers and customers rely on, competitive intelligence, and the sales play for our SMB segment. You'll work across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Gen to turn what we build into pipeline and adoption.

We're an AI company, and we expect you to work like it. The strongest candidates use AI daily to research, draft, analyze, and ship more than a traditional PMM could.

What You'll Do
  • Own the monthly release motion: customer email, launch blog post, and a public roadmap that stays accurate.

  • Build and maintain the product fact sheet library.

  • Run competitive intelligence as an ongoing program, and turn it into battlecards and objection handling that sales actually uses.

  • Own SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) for product content, so Jump shows up whether an advisor searches or asks an AI assistant for a recommendation.

  • Build the Velocity Motion sales play for our SMB segment: positioning, sequences, one-pagers, demo narrative, and enablement content.

  • Partner with Product to shape launch tiering, messaging, and timing before features ship, not after.

  • Use AI aggressively in your own workflow, and share what works with the rest of the team.

What Success Looks LikeIn the first 6 months
  • You own the monthly release cycle end to end, and customers open and read it.

  • Battlecards exist for our top competitors and reps use them without being reminded.

  • The Velocity Motion play is live and showing impact on SMB win rate or cycle time.

  • Shipping web pages that rank in organic search and get Jump cited in LLM answers.

About You
  • 3+ years in product marketing (B2B SaaS)

  • Strong writer. This role produces a lot of content, and the writing is the work.

  • AI-native. You already build AI into how you research, draft, and ship, and you're fast because of it.

  • Track record of building enablement content reps actually adopt, and the instinct to ask why when they don't.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, especially with Product and Sales, without formal authority.

  • Strong judgment and the ability to turn ambiguity into action.

  • Direct, kind, low-drama working style.

Nice to Haves
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, fintech, or AI.

  • Experience at a Series A-C company or similarly fast-moving environment.

  • Experience supporting an SMB or product-led sales motion.

  • Hands-on SEO experience and real curiosity about how AI search is changing discovery.

Benefits
  • ISO Equity options

  • Uncapped Paid Vacation

  • $0 Medical insurance premium for the whole family

  • $500 Workspace Setup Stipend

  • Dental, vision, & Indemnity coverage

  • HSA, FSA, & Dependent Care FSA

  • Company-paid Life Insurance

  • Tax-free Commuter savings

  • 401(k) available

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
