At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

About the Role

Netflix is one of the world’s leading entertainment services offering TV series, films, games and live programming across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Our rapidly expanding global Ads team is building an innovative advertising offering where our clients can reach engaged audiences and our members can find must-watch series and films at a lower price. Within our Ads business, the Product Marketing team drives the global go-to-market strategy and scalable execution for client-facing ad products, translating product capabilities into market-facing narratives that drive adoption and revenue.

We are seeking a passionate, curious and collaborative Ads Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Ad Product Marketing team, focused on Media Effectiveness for US Ad Measurement. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, research, and legal/privacy, and translates technical measurement methodologies into clear, revenue-driving value propositions for US brand advertisers, performance marketers, and agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead go-to-market strategy and launches for US and CA ad measurement solutions (e.g., incrementality, brand lift, multi-touch attribution, clean room integrations) and ensure a strong measurement story is baked into the launch of new narratives and capabilities (e.g. new ad formats)
  • Define and execute strategy for how measurement solutions are packaged and tiered across client segments (e.g. key accounts vs. mid-market), anchored to customer marketing objectives and desired outcomes
  • Launch and scale priority measurement programs, including incrementality and conversion lift testing, data clean room partnerships, and media mix modeling (MMM) enablement
  • Partner with Global PMM, Product, Sales, Research, Comms, and Legal/Privacy to shape the roadmap, using voice-of-customer feedback from agencies and advertisers
  • Benchmark Netflix measurement capabilities against other ad tech platforms to sharpen positioning and competitive messaging
  • Drive alpha and beta testing strategy and frameworks in partnership with Measurement specialists; work with data science to turn early results into case studies that demonstrate ad effectiveness across various outcomes
  • Translate complex methodologies (e.g., Bayesian MMM, synthetic control groups) into simple benefits for media buyers and CMOs
  • Build pitch decks, one-pagers, whitepapers, and battlecards, and enable sales, measurement, account management, agency trade desks, and analytics teams
  • Position privacy-safe measurement (e.g., clean rooms, Conversions API, first-party data) amid signal loss and US privacy laws such as CCPA/CPRA
  • Drive narrative and alignment around industry standards and accreditation (e.g., MRC, IAB) and third-party measurement integrations (e.g., DoubleVerify, IAS, Nielsen, Kantar, EDO)

What We’re Looking For

  • 7-10+ years of experience in ad tech product marketing, specifically activating media measurement, data collaboration and analytical solution
  • Extensive literacy over measurement methodologies, including incrementality and lift studies, multi-touch attribution (MTA), media mix modeling (MMM), identity resolution, and clean rooms
  • Deep understanding of the US digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic, CTV, mobile measurement partners, viewability, and fraud prevention
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills and ability to translate complex measurement methodologies into clear, revenue-driving value propositions for brand advertisers, performance marketers, and agencies
  • Strong experience in partnering cross-functionally on product strategy, product positioning/narrative and GTM launches
  • Excel at teamwork and have an ability to execute on multiple priority near-term business priorities under tight timelines while simultaneously building a long-term strategy

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
