Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be a key member on the Migrations product marketing team. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and execute E2E strategies that tell a compelling story of moving from our on-premise offerings to the cloud. You will contribute and support the work on internal and external resources, including whitepapers, pitch decks, email nurtures, landing pages, keynotes, and more.
Responsibilities:
You have 3-5 of marketing experience and have an aptitude for understanding and ramping on new technologies quickly. You have been responsible for creating, driving, and executing against go-to-market plans across a variety of owned channels. You're a passionate, self-starter with a no-bullshit, can-do attitude. You're eager to jump in to get things done and don't get flustered in a fast-paced and often changing environment.
An ideal candidate will be able to:
  • Build comprehensive GTM plans that include customer segmentation, messaging, and internal enablement across a mix of channels
  • Able to pivot quickly and manage multiple complex programs concurrently.
  • Apply your customer-centric focus to all content and programs
  • Partner with sales leadership and enablement to craft enablement programs
  • Create high-quality assets for use by demand gen, sales, and partners. This can take the form of blogs, webinars, leadership, analyst reports, community posts, pitch decks and more
  • Manage and navigate conversations and programs with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with your Product counterparts and engage in sparring and strategic roadmap discussions
  • Be able to spot opportunities to improve, and have a keen understanding of how to translate customer needs and market demand into messaging, content, and campaigns to help us meet our business goals

Qualifications:
3-5 years of PMM experience, ideally with a cloud infrastruture, DevOps, and/or Service Management background
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $131,400 - $171,550
Zone B: $118,800 - $155,100

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
