Lightspark is building the open payment protocol for the Internet making money move like data: instantly, globally, and without friction. With enterprise tools like Grid, Node, and Spark, businesses can send and receive money instantly, securely, and at a fraction of the cost, anytime, anywhere. Lightspark is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, but serves the world.

We're looking for a senior Product Marketing Lead to give every prospect every reason to say yes. You sit at the intersection of product, sales, and the market translating what we build into why it matters. You own positioning across our product lines, arm the sales team with the tools to win, and make our website work as hard as we do. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that shapes how the world understands Lightspark.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Develop sharp, differentiated positioning for Grid and Spark. You know our buyers, their pain points, and exactly why Lightspark wins. You make sure everyone from sales to CEO tells the same compelling story.

  • Own go-to-market strategy for partner launches. Build the playbooks, coordinate cross-functional teams, and make every launch land.

  • Lead and continuously evolve our Demo Friday program. Make sure our demos are compelling, current, and closing.

  • Create and maintain the decks, one-pagers, battlecards, and objection-handling guides that empower our sales team to move faster and close bigger deals.

  • Build a library of customer stories that make prospects see themselves in our wins. Work closely with customers and the customer success team to capture and tell these stories powerfully.

  • Own the product and solution pages on lightspark.com. Every page should answer a buyer's question and move them forward. Work with design and engineering to keep the site sharp and conversion-focused.

  • Stay close to the market. Know the competitive landscape, track how it shifts, and make sure our positioning stays ahead.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years at a senior level in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise infrastructure

  • Proven ability to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with enterprise buyers and technical audiences

  • Experience owning go-to-market launches end to end, including partner or channel launches

  • Proven fluency with AI tools you use them to move faster, write better, and experiment smarter

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication you can write a crisp exec deck and a detailed competitive teardown with equal ease

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator: you know how to work with Product, Sales, Design, and Leadership to align and execute

  • Data-driven: you measure what matters and use it to sharpen your approach

  • A high bar for quality and a restless drive to make everything better

Lightspark is on a mission to build an open payment protocol for the Internet at scale and therefore we’re committed to creating a more inclusive and diverse workplace to reflect the customers we serve. We welcome interest from individuals of all backgrounds and levels of experience who share our mission. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.

We will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the State of California Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
