About Doss

DOSS is building an Operations Cloud for the real world.

A modern, AI-native platform for physical product businesses to manage the flow of goods, dollars, and data in real time, across:

  • Procurement

  • Inventory

  • Orders

  • Fulfillment

  • Finance

Built to replace spreadsheet chaos and rigid, consultant-heavy ERPs. Fast time-to-value, adaptable as the business evolves.

Through our Adaptive Resource Platform (ARP) and unified operational data model, teams deploy quickly, automate workflows, and make changes without months of re-implementation.

We recently raised a $55M Series B, co-led by Madrona and Premji Invest. Participation from Intuit Ventures, Theory Ventures, General Catalyst, Contrary Capital, and Pathlight VC.

DOSS is trusted by fast-growing operators to run critical operations with speed, control, and confidence.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Product Marketing Associate to close the gap between what DOSS Operations Cloud can do and what the market understands about it. You’ll get deep on our product – the flexible data model, the workflow automation, and how it actually behaves in the real world – then translate that understanding into messaging that explains what customers can do with it, why it’s different, and when it’s the right fit.

This is a product-first role for someone who finds technical software interesting and can translate complexity into simple, durable narratives. You’ll ship fast, iterate faster, and keep raising the bar for clarity and taste.

You’ll work across varied industries and functions – from consumer goods to manufacturing, inventory management to finance. You’ll partner closely with our Founding Product Marketing Manager, plus Product, Sales, Growth, and leadership to produce high-leverage GTM collateral.

This is explicitly a PMM track role, not a junior writer seat. We built it as a launchpad for someone with a high slope: you’ll start content-first, but you’ll steadily take on bigger parts of the PMM surface area - positioning, vertical messaging, competitive intel, and launches. Clear path to operating at a senior level in ~12–24 months.

What You’ll Do
  • Ship high-leverage collateral: product and use case pages, solution guides, customer stories, one-pagers, blog posts, founder-led content, and webinar materials

  • Build a repeatable content system: Establish an efficient cadence, leveraging AI tools and repurposing workflows with d performance feedback loops

  • Support sales enablement: Partner with Sales & Solutions Consulting on competitive intel, vertical messaging, positioning, and GTM collateral

  • Work across varied industries and functions: From consumer goods to manufacturing, inventory management, finance, and more

  • Progressively take on bigger PMM responsibilities as you grow: positioning, competitive analysis, launch strategy

What We’re Looking For
  • 2–4 years of product marketing, content marketing, or technical writing experience in B2B SaaS

  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex products quickly and explain them simply

  • Writing samples that show both technical depth and narrative clarity

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, or customer-facing teams

  • Sharp design instincts: you don’t need to be a designer, but you know what good looks like (Figma chops are a plus)

  • Bonus: experience in ERP, supply chain, operations, or finance software

Key Skills and Attributes
  • Strategic thinker: You love distilling messy problems into clean frameworks.

  • Customer obsessed: you tie your work back to real use cases and value delivery

  • Strong writer: Story-telling instincts with a bias toward clarity over cleverness

  • Adaptable: Comfortable with AI tools and building repeatable systems

  • Taste: you can tell the difference between collateral that sells and collateral that sits

What You'll Get
  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity

  • 100% Coverage for individuals Premium medical, dental & vision coverage

  • 401(k), immediate eligibility

  • Lunch in-office 5 days/week (and dinner when needed)

  • Flexible/unlimited PTO

  • Commuter (BART/MUNI/CalTrain) and equipment stipends

  • Wellness & Fitness stipend

  • Generous parental leave

  • Relocation assistance available

  • In-office culture in San Francisco

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
