  • Develop measurement approaches to evaluate product effectiveness and impact.
  • Define and execute product experiments (A/B testing) to drive incremental product growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with product designers to discover and bring definition to new product opportunities, serving as a thought partner through the design process.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features based on desirability, viability, and feasibility.

  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform future development priorities.
  • Engage with key clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships and effectively communicating product vision, progress, and impact.

Why you should apply

  • You want to work with passionate and talented people who are always looking for ways to make things better.
  • You desire a work environment where respect, mutual trust, and egoless collaboration are paramount.

  • You like being part of a team that has a reputation for excellence and gives back to the community by educating, mentoring, and sponsoring.
  • You want to work on products and accounts that have an outsized impact and reach.
  • You believe in sweating the details, giving a damn about quality, and taking pride in going the extra mile.

What you bring to the table

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a consulting environment or as part of an in-house, cross-functional product team.
  • Experience working on consumer-facing native applications for iOS and/or Android, plus an extensive knowledge of both platforms’ features and capabilities.
  • Experience working on high-profile consumer-facing web applications.
  • A keen ability to incorporate data and measurement into the product management process, influencing others around you to follow suit.
  • Experience gathering and synthesizing both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover new insights about user behavior and business opportunities.
  • Firm grasp of modern product management best practices and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to present and defend strategic choices persuasively.
  • Above-average discipline and personal organization skills.
  • Experience leading and/or mentoring other product managers.
  • A demonstrated hunger for personal and professional growth.
  • A self-evident love and care for the craft of product management.

  • Write and/or speak publicly about topics related to product, technology, design, and consumer behavior.
  • Have experience incorporating AI to accelerate various aspects of the product development process.
  • Have experience with business development, account management, customer success, and/or application support.

When applying, please include a short note about yourself, a summary of your work experience, and a link to any writing or recorded speaking you have done about topics related to product management and/or business strategy (if applicable).

Our hiring process moves quickly and consists of several stages for candidates who capture our attention with their initial submission, sometimes including but not limited to a short preliminary phone interview, a series of video interviews, and a short take-home exercise, which you'll have up to a week to complete.

Compensation is $120,000 - $145,000 a year.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
