Valcre is searching for our next Product Manager

We're on a mission to streamline the CRE appraisal workflow process across the globe with our innovative SaaS platform. We're looking for a driven Product Manager to lead key product initiatives and help define the future of CRE appraisal technology.

Valcre is the premier valuation software for the commercial real estate industry. It is trusted by the leading appraisal firms across the US, Canada, and Australia as the gold standard for appraisers. Valcre’s web and mobile apps, along with its valuation models, provide an end-to-end solution for the appraisal workflow, including job and client management, property research, inspections, valuation analysis, and report writing.

This is an opportunity to join other talented, diverse, passionate, and driven individuals who want to solve big problems and transform the Commercial Real Estate industry.

About the Position

The Product Manager will own one or more core areas of our platform, with a strong focus on leading a new data and insights initiative. You’ll play a central role in shaping how appraisers and their clients unlock value from their data — from ideation to go-to-market.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality outcomes, and report to the Director of Product while working cross-functionally across the company.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery across 1–2 major product areas.

  • Partner with engineering, design, customer success, and sales to align on priorities and deliver value.

  • Define product requirements, prioritize backlogs, and ensure successful and timely product launches.

  • Leverage user feedback, product analytics, and market trends to shape product strategy and roadmap.

  • Track and report on key product KPIs; use insights to drive continual product improvements.

  • Champion the voice of the customer and strive for solutions that improve user outcomes.

  • Contribute to the development of long-term product vision, particularly in emerging areas like AI and data-driven insights.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape, and surface opportunities for innovation.

Specifics & Requirements

This is a remote role with flexibility across U.S. time zones. Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required for team or customer collaboration.

We’re looking for a Product Manager who brings a mix of analytical rigor, user empathy, and a bias for action. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and moving seamlessly between strategic thinking and execution.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience

  • A strong track record of taking SaaS products from concept to launch

  • Experience in enterprise software; PropTech or FinTech experience is a plus

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills

  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and define metrics for success

  • Technical fluency and experience working closely with engineering teams

  • Bonus qualifications:

    • Proficiency with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)

    • Experience integrating AI-powered workflows, leveraging machine learning or large language models (LLMs)

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Salary

  • 401k with employer match

  • Opportunity to participate in employee stock option program

  • Comprehensive health benefits

  • 100% remote work environment

  • Generous PTO and flexibility

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
