About the Starknet Foundation

It’s time for the digital world to be reinvented. We’re here to make sure it happens.

The Starknet Foundation stewards the growth of Starknet, a cutting-edge Layer 2 blockchain built on Ethereum. Our mission is to scale Ethereum without compromising its security or decentralisation, making powerful, efficient decentralised applications accessible to all.

Now is an incredible time to join Starknet. The ecosystem is expanding - developer activity is growing, transformative projects are launching, and the technology is proving its strength. As adoption accelerates, this is your chance to shape the future of decentralised infrastructure.

We’re not just building technology - we’re reimagining what the digital world could be if it was built with integrity. The Starknet Foundation is home to a world-class team of builders, researchers, and community leaders, all working to create a more open, fair, and decentralised future. At the Foundation, you’ll collaborate with a close-knit team of driven, creative, and unconventional minds to make this vision a reality.

Have what it takes to reinvent the digital world?

If you’re ready to challenge assumptions, embrace first principles, and help bring fairness, creativity, and opportunity to the digital world, we’d love to work with you.

About the Role

As a Product Manager at Starknet Foundation, you’ll play a pivotal role in stewarding the growth and future of Starknet. This isn’t your typical internal-facing PM job—we’re shaping an entire ecosystem. You’ll support key dev partners and help them scope and define their own product roadmaps, guiding teams across the community to align on priorities that drive maximum value. You’ll work at the intersection of product, partnerships, and ecosystem growth—supporting teams and products that will define the future of permissionless, provable computation.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and strong interpersonal skills. You’ll wear many hats—sometimes an advisor, sometimes a negotiator, always a builder. The work is diverse, spanning a wide variety of dev partners (appchains, dapps, infrastructure, AI, and more). You’ll need to be comfortable working across different domains while maintaining focus and clarity on what matters most.

How You Can Make An Impact

  • Shape and prioritize the direction of the Starknet ecosystem by evaluating proposals, products, and teams through both strategic and technical lenses.
  • Collaborate with leading ecosystem dev partners to define, scope, incentivize and support impactful projects.
  • Act as a key liaison between technical teams and the Foundation—ensuring that projects are realistic, resourced properly, and aligned with broader goals.
  • Proactively engage with both active and potential collaborators, bringing new ideas and projects into the Starknet orbit and fostering cross-team initiatives.
  • Facilitate complex, high-stakes conversations with partners that drive towards mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Work across domains—from ZK infra to AI tooling to appchains—and gradually develop ownership over a product vertical you’re passionate about.
  • Identify opportunities to bring in new voices, teams, and collaborations to the ecosystem—and help turn those relationships into meaningful outputs.

What We're Looking For

  • Ecosystem-first mindset – You think beyond individual product success; you’re driven to elevate the entire Starknet network.
  • Strong communicator & collaborator – You thrive in cross-functional settings and know how to build trust with teams, even in tense or ambiguous moments.
  • Experienced PM with deep technical fluency – You’ve worked in technical environments, can code, and have no problem discussing scopes, trade-offs, or architectural implications.
  • L2 & ZK familiarity – You deeply understand the blockchain space and have direct experience in Layer 2 or zero-knowledge projects.
  • Negotiator & strategic thinker – You’re comfortable managing stakeholders, aligning incentives, and removing emotion from complex conversations.
  • Outreach-oriented – You’re the type of person who connects dots, proactively engages with partners, and sees opportunity in collaboration.
  • Generalist with depth – Whether it’s AI, infra, or appchains, you can quickly orient yourself in new domains and bring sharp insight when it’s time to zoom in.
  • Highly self-directed – While a great team player and collaborator, you thrive in remote environments, take initiative without needing constant direction, and are comfortable driving projects forward independently.
  • We’re a remote organization with offices in London and Lisbon. The ideal candidate will be on GMT timezone +/-5 hours and capable of a flexible working schedule.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
