Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for core platform areas. Conduct customer discovery, write requirements, prioritize backlogs, partner with engineering and design, translate complex workflows into reliable UX, use data to measure outcomes, and support go-to-market and adoption efforts in a fast-paced, mission-critical SaaS environment.
Epsilon3 is a multi-product operations management platform revolutionizing the way teams build, launch, and operate spacecraft and other advanced hardware systems.
Launched in 2021, our company is led by engineers from SpaceX, Google, and NASA, who have experience supporting over 100 space missions. Innovative teams at Blue Origin, Rocket Lab, Axiom Space, Firefly Aerospace, and many others depend on our web-based (SaaS) solutions to plan and track high-stakes procedures. We raised a $15M Series A funding round led by Lux Capital, Y Combinator (YC S21), and other world-class investors.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core areas of our platform, spanning procedure execution, manufacturing, test, telemetry & command, analytics, and AI-assisted workflows. You’ll work directly with our customers to turn complex, mission-critical problems into elegant, reliable products that operators trust in high-stakes environments.
This is a high-ownership role within a fast-paced startup. The ideal candidate pairs strong product judgment with technical fluency, moves fast without breaking trust, and is energized by deep customer discovery alongside engineers, designers, and end users.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for one or more areas of the platform, from vision through delivery and iteration
- Understand our customers via interviews, discovery calls, and on-site visits with engineers, manufacturers, and operators—to identify the highest-impact problems to solve
- Write clear requirements, define success metrics, and prioritize a backlog that balances customer needs, business goals, and technical realities
- Partner closely with engineering and design in a Lean/Agile environment to ship high-quality software rapidly and iterate with users
- Translate complex workflows (such as real-time telemetry, procedure management, traceability, and AI-assisted decision-making) into intuitive, reliable experiences
- Use data and analytics to measure outcomes, inform decisions, and continuously improve the product
- Partner with go-to-market teams (sales, customer success, and marketing) to drive adoption, and represent the product in customer meetings and technical demos
- Help shape our team’s culture, processes, and tools
Basic Qualifications
- 3-7 years of product management experience, including shipping complex B2B or enterprise SaaS, industrial, or technical software products
- A track record of leading products end-to-end, from discovery and requirements to launch and iteration, with measurable impact
- Strong product judgment, prioritization, and written communication skills; able to distill ambiguity into clear plans
- Technical fluency. Comfortable reasoning about APIs, data models, integrations, and the constraints of real-time, high-security cloud/on-prem environments
- Self-starter who thrives navigating ambiguity and rapidly evolving priorities; strong, collaborative team player
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field
- Experience with data analysis, PM backlog, document writing, presentation, and AI tools
- Ability to work on-site at our El Segundo, CA headquarters
- US Citizenship required (future security clearance may be required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain experience in the markets we serve is a strong plus - aerospace, space, defense, manufacturing, energy, robotics, aviation, or other complex, mission-critical operations
- Experience building AI/ML-enabled product features that boost team efficiency and enable fast, data-driven decisions
- Experience with hardware, operations, mission-critical software, or regulated/high-reliability environments
- Familiarity with Lean Startup and Agile product development methodologies
- Experience at fast-growing tech startups
Perks:
This full-time role includes stock options, generous PTO, health insurance, and a 4% 401k match.
