As a Product Manager, you will help shape the future of Capital Group's Wealth Solutions and portfolio construction capabilities by identifying client needs, driving innovation, and delivering scalable solutions that help financial advisors build better investor outcomes.


You will bring a client-centric mindset and the ability to identify client needs and emerging industry trends and translate them into scalable solutions that drive meaningful client and business outcomes.  You will work at the intersection of portfolio construction, advisor experience, product management, data & analytics, and technology to enhance client engagement.  You will lead others and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive key initiatives, manage critical processes and operations, and develop innovative solutions.  A curious mind, resourcefulness, solution-oriented thinking, and a desire for continuous improvement are well aligned with this role.

  • You have in-depth knowledge of investment products, asset allocation, multi-asset solutions, portfolio and investment analytics, manager due diligence, and the asset management business.
  • You exhibit expertise in financial technology, data and analytics, and AI tools that enhance the client experience.
  • You have previous experience in planning, prioritizing and guiding the work of others.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of successful product management and experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • You can communicate complex concepts through clear and compelling narratives to influence stakeholders.
  • You build meaningful relationships and establish trust with teammates and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.
  • You are intellectually curious and energized by learning, solving complex problems, and exercising good judgment.  
  • You have effective written and oral communication skills with a diverse audience of associates and senior business leaders.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree.  CFA, CIMA, or CFP preferred. FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) required for the role.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $159,354-$254,966

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
