About OneSkin

#BeLimitless with OneSkin

Come redefine the future of aging with us. We're a longevity company. Everything we do, we do to help people age at the best version of themselves.

Our founding team is made up of 4 PhDs and entrepreneurial minds on a mission to transform the way we think about skin and aging. As the pioneers of skin health and longevity, we create science-based, clinically effective products to optimize skin and body health and provide support for people at every step of their “growing limitless” journey. Our longevity approach targets the root causes of aging using a proprietary peptide designed to decrease the accumulation of aged (senescent cells) in the skin -- and is the first product proven to reduce skin biological age in humans.

We never settle and continually challenge existing treatments and methodologies to advance the frontier of skin science. As we help our customers grow limitless, we grow too -- by embracing individuality and differences, leading by example, and empowering ourselves and others with our passion for science, optimal health, and innovation.

We are limitless. It's our mantra. Our commitment to helping anybody and everybody committed to live life to the fullest regardless of their age.

About the Role

This Product Manager will take full ownership of retention: the subscriber experience, the platforms it runs on, and the roadmap that keeps both improving. You'll define the strategy, turn it into a roadmap you can execute against, and work across growth, data, product design, and our development agency to improve the overall customer experience including engagement, lifetime value, cancellation prevention, and renewal flows — all driving growth in Lifetime Value.

How we work

  • We define the problem before we define the solution. We resist the urge to rush into execution. When handed a goal, we map out uncertainties, leverage first-principle thinking to uncover the root cause, and design a plan tailored to solve the true problem.
  • We own both the outcome and the inputs. We thoroughly scope initiatives, ensuring work is properly sequenced to eliminate bottlenecks. Ownership doesn’t end at launch, we see every project through to rigorous monitoring and performance reporting.
  • We collaborate proactively, and often. We prioritize alignment. Cross-functional partners & stakeholders engage in active working sessions, not passive status meetings. We choose to solve complex problems together rather than go back and forth in Slack.
  • We document for transparency. We keep stakeholders and partners informed asynchronously by centralizing progress, context and key decisions to make it easy to track project momentum and business impact.
  • We value data over opinion: We analyze metrics and leverage the best available information to resolve debates, ground our strategies, and make confident calls
  • We match rigor to the stakes. We make swift decisions with the best insights at hand, recognizing information is not always perfect. We balance our evaluation depth with the importance of the outcome and keep moving.
  • We build systems for scale and success. We actively architect the foundations we need to succeed. When an important  process, framework, or piece of documentation doesn't exist or is broken, we build it, and we build to scale.

How you make an impact

  • Own the post-purchase product experience: drive the retention program lifecycle and core operating systems including onboarding, subscription management, post-purchase education, and loyalty programs
  • Optimize early user experiences so new customers hit their "aha!" moment and realize core product value quickly.
  • Build features & experiences —like streaks, reminders, triggers, loyalty programs, or personalized re-engagement campaigns—that turn daily usage into a key part of the customer longevity routine.
  • Manage the subscriber account experience end to end: direct the digital product touchpoints that impact user LTV, mapping customer journeys to eliminate friction point and proactively mitigate churn
  • Lead subscription platform strategy: utilize deep, data-driven decision making and cohort-based analytical frameworks to evaluate, select and optimize our subscription systems
  • Apply product systems thinking to experiments: formulate clear, testable hypotheses to isolate retention bottlenecks. Structure disciplined A/B tests and experiments to validate assumptions, extract insights and rapidly iterate on findings to fully own the business outcome.
  • Proactively own data health to catch, diagnose and resolve breakages before they impact business reporting and/or outcomes.
  • Leverage existing AI tools and evaluate emerging technologies to automate repetitive work, analyze large sets of data to increase and improve outcomes without sacrificing critical thinking and domain expertise.

We’re excited about you because

  • You’re driven by analytical curiosity and need to understand the “why”.
  • You use AI tools daily to analyze customer data and automate repetitive work, but not to replace critical thinking skills. Experience with MCPs and agents is a must have.
  • You're possess administrator-level fluency in Shopify and subscription management platforms (SKIO or comparable)
  • You’re a proactive optimizer. You routinely go looking for what's underperforming before someone asks you.
  • You close the loop: you QA your own work and rigorously test your own implementation until any issues are fully resolved
  • You can comfortably navigate ambiguity, create a structured execution plan to validate your hypotheses, and align cross-functional partners in the process
  • You translate technical complexities and details for non-technical partners clearly
  • You hold yourself and your collaborators around you to a high bar, believing that a rigorous, and scalable solution is more valuable than a rushed deployment.

Compensation Range: $150,000–$170,000

Our total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, strong quarterly bonus potential, and equity/stock options designed to support long-term alignment and shared success.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
