Manage sourcing, production, quality, compliance, costing, and pricing for PVC and PE fittings. Collaborate with sales and production to ensure product availability, drive revenue growth, and maintain market leadership through supplier management, process improvements, and performance reporting.
The PVC Fittings Manager will oversee the sourcing, production, and distribution of PVC and PE fittings for JM Eagle. This critical role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards, and developing effective costing and pricing strategies. The Manager will work closely with sales, production, and other cross-functional teams to align with market demands and drive operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Production Oversight:
- Oversee the production process of PVC and PE fittings, ensuring efficient workflows and optimal resource utilization.
- Work with the production team to monitor and improve manufacturing processes for quality and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure products meet regulatory and compliance standards, maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
Costing & Pricing Strategies:
- Develop accurate product costing and pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Regularly assess market trends and adjust pricing strategies to align with changing demand and raw material costs.
Collaboration with Sales & Production Teams:
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing and sales strategies that align with customer needs and market conditions.
- Work with production teams to ensure product availability, timely delivery, and efficient response to customer demands.
Revenue Growth & market Leadership:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities and fostering relationships with key customers.
- Work to establish and maintain JM Eagle as a leader in the PVC and PE fittings market through continuous product innovation and excellence in customer service.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and enforce product quality standards and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and certifications.
- Address any quality issues proactively and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and analyze performance metrics to ensure that production, cost, and sales targets are met.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on product performance, market trends, and financial outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing supply chain management or related roles, preferably within the PVC or electrical industry.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to the electrical fittings and manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of product costing, pricing strategies and market analysis.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and overseeing production processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is ideal and/or equivalent experience.
