OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox Corporation

Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You Build It. America Sees It.

FOX Forward Deployed is an 12-month rotational program that embeds early-career product managers inside the teams responsible for FOX’s biggest, most-watched moments.

You will complete two six-month deployments across product organizations supporting streaming, sports, news, AI systems, and platform capabilities.

This is not roadmap theater.
You will define problems, ship features, and learn how product decisions are made under real constraints.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Product Manager in FOX Forward Deployed, you will rotate across three product teams embedded within core business units across Sports, News, FOX One, AI, and platform organizations. You will own defined problem spaces and contribute to product decisions that reach national audiences and enterprise operators.

From live sports innovation to AI-enabled content intelligence and FOX One growth systems, you will work in high-visibility environments where clarity, prioritization, and execution directly impact user engagement, revenue, and operational efficiency.

You will operate in an AI-native product environment using tools such as Figma Make, Replit, ChatGPT, Claude, NotebookLM, and Databricks to prototype ideas, test hypotheses, analyze data, and accelerate decision velocity.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Frame clear problem statements grounded in user and business impact

  • Partner with engineering and design to ship measurable outcomes

  • Prototype and validate ideas quickly using data and AI-assisted tools

  • Use data, experimentation, and user feedback to inform decisions

  • Make informed tradeoffs across scope, speed, and technical constraints

WHAT YOU COULD BUILD

  • Sports AI & Live Events: Define how conversational AI and live sports systems turn game data and expert content into ranked highlights and natural language fan experiences during major broadcasts.
  • Live Newsroom Operations and Audience Systems: Build tools that support live newsroom workflows, improve content discovery, and enhance audience engagement across FOX platforms.
  • FOX One Live Experience Systems: Drive interactive features and content packaging innovations that power premium live sports and news across devices on FOX One.
  • Shared Identity and Platform Capabilities: Develop product initiatives that unify authentication, entitlements, and cross platform user journeys across Sports, News, and Entertainment.
  • Revenue Automation and RAG Systems: Partner on product strategy for AI systems that automate complex ad sales workflows and connect revenue operations across FOX.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills

  • Experience prototyping, building, or experimenting with product ideas

  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to support discovery, synthesis, or prototyping

  • Ability to explain a product decision improved by AI-assisted work

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity

  • Clear communication and collaboration skills

  • Bias toward ownership and execution

FOX Forward Deployed is intentionally small and selective. Participants are expected to operate as contributing product managers from day one.

HOW WE EVALUATE BUILDERS

We evaluate builders by what they’ve shipped and decided.

You will be asked to:

  • Share one product artifact such as a PRD, prototype, or case study

  • Explain the problem you were solving

  • Describe what you learned from users or data

  • Detail one meaningful tradeoff

  • Explain how AI tools influenced your thinking or outcome

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience working closely with engineers or technical systems

  • Exposure to experimentation frameworks or analytics tools

  • Experience building products in fast-moving environments

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
