Position Summary And Opportunity As a Product Manager, Forecasting at Duetto, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle of our demand forecasting services, from ideation to delivery and ongoing iteration. You will own one of the most critical inputs to our Revenue Management System, working to deliver accurate, reliable, and explainable forecasts to our customers.

The forecast drives the pricing and operational decisions at thousands of hotels managing billions in revenue. You'll work closely with data scientists, senior engineers, hotel revenue experts, and customer success teams to enhance our forecasting solutions. You will be key in bridging the gap between complex forecasting methodologies and the real-world business needs of the dynamic hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate the product roadmap for the next generation of our forecasting services.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to identify opportunities for applying new models and algorithms to optimize forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with senior engineering stakeholders to manage expectations and navigate technical discovery, especially within a complex, evolving system architecture.
  • Collect and prioritize customer feedback, market trends, and data insights to define product requirements and user stories.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the effectiveness and accuracy of our forecasting models.
  • Stay abreast of forecasting trends, competitive products, and innovations in hotel revenue management.
  • Own the tactical product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization for the forecasting team.
  • Understand and communicate technical dependencies and requirements to our engineering teams, with an ability to go deep on system architecture.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ Years of Product Management experience shipping great products.
  • Proven experience with data-intensive, algorithmic, or ML-driven products.
  • A strong fundamental understanding of forecasting concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, particularly with senior technical partners.
  • A passion for innovation and a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Ability to go deep technically, including ramping up on our established system architecture while helping guide its evolution.
  • Experience with A/B testing or designing and running product experiments.
  • Commerce, finance, or travel experience are a strong plus.
