About Moon

Moon is an ambitious, independent vertical SaaS company incubated by Home Organizers, a market leader with decades of proven success in home organization through its subsidiaries, including Closet World, Closets by Design, and Brio Water Technology. Born inside one of the industry's largest operators — 6,000+ employees, hundreds of thousands of new customers served annually — Moon is built on a rare advantage: we build for the home improvement industry from within it.

Our mission is to reinvent the home improvement experience end to end. From AI-driven marketing and in-home 3D design to sales, service, and operations, Moon unifies the entire customer and business journey on a single platform — supercharged by Luna, our proprietary AI engine. Where most operators stitch together disconnected tools that don't understand the homeowner, we're building the unified operating system the industry has never had. We're a rapidly growing team of committed builders, driven to reimagine how this industry sells, designs, and delivers — and to power the next generation of operators, from single-location dealers to national franchise networks.

Role Overview

You will own the product roadmap for Moon's designer experience module: the experience our customers' design professionals use to design, price, and sell real projects in real homes. Your mandate is to make those designers measurably more successful, and the module's success metrics are key performance indicators for the business.

About the role

You will join a team that ships continuously and measures everything. You set the targets and the forward plan; the engineering team iterates inside it. You verify what launches, monitor outcomes at the aggregate level, and drill down when a trend bends the wrong way. An Associate PM reports to you.

What you'll do

Prioritize the roadmap rigorously against the module's success metrics.

Define and defend guardrail metrics so a win in one place never creates a loss somewhere else.

Maintain the forward plan: acceptance criteria, dependencies, and the requirements that protect quality.

Spend real hours in the field with the designers who use the product; convert what you learn into the team's backlog.

Verify launches weekly, own the team dashboard, and develop the Associate PM.

Qualifications

4+ years of product management with direct ownership of a funnel or conversion metric - you can show the before and after.

Analytics fluency (Amplitude or equivalent); rigorous about how improvement is measured.

Comfortable not reviewing every ticket: you set targets and verify outcomes, and you trust the team in between.

Experience with field sales tools, configure-price-quote, or in-home selling a strong plus.
Strong capability when it comes to fine details, this application involves complex, careful mechanics especially within the designer experience.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
