Acorns is seeking a Product Manager to build the experiences that help millions of everyday people stay engaged in saving, investing, and building wealth. You will lead the product strategy across Home, core surfaces, and account management — shaping the experiences that define a customer’s ongoing relationship with Acorns. This role is for a builder with strong consumer product craft, someone who understands what motivates people throughout their financial journey and can translate that understanding into experiences that inspire lasting financial habits.

Acorns is a remote-first organization, offering the flexibility to work remotely while providing optional access to office space in Irvine, CA.

What you will do at Acorns:

• Own the surfaces that help customers see their financial progress, understand what matters next, and stay motivated to keep growing — anchored by Home as the heart of the customer relationship

• Define a coherent engagement model across these surfaces so customers experience Acorns as one connected journey, not a collection of individual products

• Develop deep fluency in how customer needs change across the financial journey — from getting started to building momentum, falling off track, and recovering — and use that understanding to identify the experiences that help customers keep progressing

• Lead product work end to end, from discovery and strategy through delivery, measurement, and iteration, with a high degree of autonomy and ownership

• Shape how partner teams show up across shared surfaces, ensuring new experiences strengthen the broader customer journey rather than fragment it

• Lead cross-functional teams across design, engineering, data, legal and compliance, and marketing to ship and iterate on experiences that deepen engagement and retention

• Design and run experiments to test assumptions, identify what meaningfully improves long-term engagement, and use those learnings to advance retention goals.

What you will bring to Acorns:

• 5-7 years of product management experience, with a track record of building consumer experiences that drive repeat engagement and deepen customer relationships over time.

• Heart-led and customer-obsessed, bringing genuine empathy to the work and a deep curiosity about what motivates people to build and sustain healthy financial habits

• Bias for speed and action, making sound decisions amid ambiguity and moving quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality and craft.

• Proven analytical rigor, knowing which metrics matter, analyzing performance with depth, and using data to drive decisions and hold teams accountable

• Strong technical fluency, understanding the systems behind your features well enough to ask the right questions, make good tradeoffs, and ensure the right solution gets built

• Hands-on with AI tools, using them actively to prototype ideas, pressure-test scenarios, and synthesize research to accelerate the product development process

• Hunger to deliver game-changing products

Compensation Information:

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $150,000 and $170,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including equity grants, and discretionary cash bonus awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
