We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team at Snap Inc!
What you’ll do:
Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Activation across registration, login, recovery, verification, permissions, and age assurance on mobile and web
Build reliable, secure, low-friction flows that maximize successful account creation and access while protecting user safety, privacy, and platform integrity
Partner with Trust and Safety, Security, Privacy, and Legal to meet policy and regional requirements for age assurance, data handling, and consent with minimal user friction
Partner with User Acquisition as users arrive, then work closely with the Onboarding team to drive new users to CPV as quickly as possible
Design and analyze graph-aware experiments and risk-based challenges, and track a focused KPI set: registration completion, login success, time to verified, permission opt-in, and Help Center contact rate
Lead delivery with Engineering, Design, and Data Science, and partner with SRE and Support to improve reliability, latency, and incident response, including safeguards for third-party dependencies like SMS delivery
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong technical acumen and systems thinking applied to identity, authentication, authorization, and risk mitigation in consumer products at scale
Skilled at translating policy and regulatory requirements into product and technical requirements without unnecessary friction
Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills with experience influencing cross functional partners across Security, Privacy, Legal, User Acquisition, and Marketing
Deep analytical ability with proficiency in funnel analysis, experiment design, and interpreting model performance and trade offs
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
4+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company; OR a Masters and 3+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on authentication, onboarding, trust and safety, or adjoining systems that involve identity and verification
Product management experience with ownership of login, registration, identity verification, or permissions flows at scale
Background in abuse prevention, bot and fraud detection, rate limiting, and risk based authentication
Familiarity with youth safety and age assurance approaches and the privacy by design principles that support them
Understanding of mobile and web platform capabilities and limitations for permissions, notifications, and device identifiers
Experience partnering with SRE and developer platform teams to improve reliability, observability, and documentation of critical path systems

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $173,000-$259,000 annually.
Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $164,000-$246,000 annually.Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $147,000-$220,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
