The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About This Role
Today, the back-office business operations are plagued by manual, slow, and fragmented processes and data that force organizations to rely heavily on email, spreadsheets and manual labor to manage complex, ever-shifting operational workflows. Agentforce Operations is reimagining the back-office business operations by empowering companies to collaborate and automate complex business processes on a single platform.

We are seeking a senior product leader to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a Private Cloud Edition of our SaaS-based Agentforce Operations platform to be named as the  Missionforce Operations Private Cloud Edition. This role will focus on adapting our commercial SaaS product into a deployable, secure, compliant, and supportable edition that can run inside government-owned, isolated, or restricted cloud environments, including defense cloud enclaves, sovereign cloud environments, and customer-controlled private cloud deployments.

The ideal candidate combines strong SaaS product management experience with deep understanding of cloud architecture, regulated environments, cybersecurity, compliance, and enterprise/government customer needs. This person will work closely with engineering, security, compliance, cloud infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, customer success, sales, legal, and government program teams to define what it means to productize our SaaS offering for highly controlled environments.

PLEASE NOTE:

Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.
Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation as well as your having and maintaining the specific level of U.S. government background investigation and clearance required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute vision, strategy, and roadmap for Missionforce Operations Private Cloud Edition (PCE) product offerings — especially in Trust, Compliance, Security, Privacy, Scalability, Accessibility, and mission readiness.

  • Dive deeply into product/platform architecture to ensure it supports key requirements of defense/public sector: secure cloud operations, AI/ML-enabled decision support, operational resilience.

  • Lead the definition, planning, and delivery of feature work and compliance efforts, coordinating across development, testing, UX/design, security, legal, and ops teams.

  • Collaborate closely with customers, partners, Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), User Experience (UX), and User Research & Insights teams to identify opportunities and validate solutions.

  • Define and execute the product strategy for Missionforce Operations Private Cloud Edition (PCE), including refining pricing and packaging model focused on customer outcomes.

  • Drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for new products and features to ensure a successful launch.

  • Lead cross-functional product launch activities, ensuring sales and marketing teams are equipped to drive adoption and revenue.

  • Evangelize product value internally - Salesforce teams, engineering, product leadership leadership - and externally: government customers, prospects, events.

  • Establish and track clear success metrics; ensure visible progress every release toward closing gaps and maturing capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.

  • 10+ years of product management, technical product management, platform product, or enterprise software experience.

  • 5+ years of experience with SaaS, cloud platforms, infrastructure, security, or enterprise application platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience taking complex enterprise software capabilities from strategy through execution, launch, adoption, and lifecycle management.

  • Strong understanding of modern SaaS architecture, including multi-tenancy, identity and access management, data isolation, APIs, integration, observability, release management, and cloud operations.

  • Experience with secure cloud environments, regulated industries, government customers, or highly controlled enterprise deployments.

  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or private cloud environments.

  • Strong familiarity with security and compliance concepts such as encryption, key management, vulnerability management, access controls, audit logging, least privilege, secure SDLC, incident response, and compliance evidence collection.

  • Ability to translate complex security, compliance, and infrastructure requirements into actionable product requirements.

  • Strong executive communication skills and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across product, engineering, security, legal, sales, and customer organizations.

  • Experience working with large enterprise customers, government agencies, defense contractors, or system integrator partners.

  • Excellent written communication skills, including PRDs, strategy documents, roadmap narratives, customer-facing explanations, and executive updates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical background in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise architecture is preferred.

  • Active or prior U.S. government security clearance is a plus. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a clearance may be required depending on customer and deployment requirements.

  • Experience building or operating products for FedRAMP, DoD IL4/IL5/IL6, DISA SRG, ICD-503, NIST 800-53, RMF, CMMC, ITAR, CJIS, or similar regulated environments.

  • Experience with government cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud, AWS Secret Region, Azure Government, Azure Government Secret, Oracle Government/Defense Cloud, or agency-owned cloud enclaves.

  • Experience with Authority to Operate processes, security assessment packages, control inheritance, continuous monitoring, Plan of Action and Milestones, and evidence collection.

  • Experience with private cloud, single-tenant SaaS, dedicated cloud, sovereign cloud, hybrid cloud, or air-gapped deployment models.

  • Experience with Kubernetes, containers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, hardened images, STIGs, FIPS-validated cryptography, SBOMs, artifact repositories, and secure software supply chain practices.

  • Experience working with federal system integrators, defense contractors, public sector sales teams, or government acquisition processes.

PLEASE NOTE: Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation as well as your having and maintaining the specific level of U.S. government background investigation and clearance required for this role.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
