Location: Los Angeles, CA

The Los Angeles office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a Product Liability Litigation Associate to join its team.

Job Requirements:
  • Two to four years of complex product liability litigation experience at a law firm.

  • Experience defending clients in both California state court and federal court.

  • Preferred experience with pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and consumer health or consumer-facing products.

  • Experience in all phases of litigation, including:

    • Discovery

    • Depositions

    • Motion drafting

    • Hearings

  • Trial or trial preparation experience is a plus.

  • Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills.

  • Strong academic credentials.

Ideal Candidates:
  • Highly motivated to be part of an active trial practice.

  • Demonstrate initiative and an ability to assume responsibility for client matters.

  • Possess interpersonal skills to work well as part of a large, collaborative team.

  • Admission to the California Bar is required.
