We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Product Information Specialist with expertise in Auto Care’s ACES & PIES standards to join our team. This role emphasizes managing and maintaining product catalog data to ensure it is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards. You will play a pivotal role in supporting New Product Introductions (NPI)
by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing—to streamline and expedite product data for new releases. Your efforts will directly contribute to the successful launch of new products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered to the market efficiently.
Salary $75K - $85K

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:

Support New Product Introductions (NPI): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine data for new products, ensuring accurate and timely integration into the product catalog. Coordinate with product management and marketing to facilitate smooth new product rollouts.

Maintain a detailed knowledge of product catalog data, including automotive application data, catalog conflicts, overlaps, and industry standards (ACES, PIES, etc.).

Provide product and application-fitment data support to customers and sales teams by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely manner. Partner with teams to assess coverage gaps, utilizing data to recommend strategies for product introductions and catalog improvements.

Assist in the distribution and quality control of digital assets, including images and product-related media, particularly for new product releases.

Conduct regular audits to ensure data consistency and quality across platforms, especially for new product data.

All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in catalog-related roles, particularly in vehicle mapping, part attribute management, and digital asset management.

Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field (automotive, product management, information systems).

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Auto Care’s ACES & PIES standards; familiarity with databases such as VCdb, PAdb, PCdb, and Qdb.

PIM Expertise: Experience with PIM systems such as PartCat or similar. Automotive Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts and product lifecycle management.

Attention to Detail: Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail, especially during peak periods.

Communication Skills: Proven ability to present analytical findings and communicate strategic recommendations across multiple teams
