This is a fantastic opportunity for you to lead and drive market development activities, including clinical marketing and market intelligence initiatives, for the APTURE transcatheter shunt program and other AT technologies. You will be a trusted partner to our key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and internal teams particularly Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Strategy, Regulatory, and R&D. This is an exciting time to join the Strategic Marketing team in AT as we scale up our efforts to drive access and awareness around the APTURE shunt program and shape the market of devices solutions for the treatment of heart failure. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Strategic Marketing (AT).

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead the development and execution of our targeted podium strategy across leading global conferences to maximize the reach and impact of APTURE evidence and differentiation via late-breaking data, presentations, and symposiums
  • Closely collaborate with leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and physicians on key data and evidence presentations and amplify APTURE messaging across channels
  • In partnership with clinical affairs, lead key discussions during Executive Committee, Steering Committee, and principal investigator meetings
  • Develop and communicate APTURE’s value proposition in a continuously evolving space, in alignment with multiple functions
  • Create and disseminate print materials, speaker decks, and other assets to amplify APTURE data and value proposition, with alignment from multiple functions
  • Provide marketing leadership for APTURE differentiation initiatives
  • Partner with Medical Affairs on the APTURE publication strategy
  • Support Therapy Awareness and Market Development initiatives
  • Regularly update and get buy-in from senior leadership (SVPs and CVP) on key initiatives
  • Lead market research initiatives in the Heart Failure space in order to drive strategy
  • Gather feedback and insights from KOLs, physicians, and other external stakeholders to inform insights and strategy
  • Be the resident expert on the Heart Failure space, and provide insights to inform the product roadmap and clinical trial strategy
  • Direct external vendors, creative agencies and consultants as needed

What we look for (required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, 12+ years of relevant experience in medical device marketing or healthcare industry required OR
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field, 10+ years of relevant experience in medical device marketing or healthcare industry

What we look for (preferred):

  • Medical device marketing expertise with a strong track record of successful development and execution of marketing programs/campaigns
  • Strong clinical depth and ability to form trusted partnerships with KOLs and leading physicians
  • Ability to navigate challenging situations and have difficult conversations in a productive and respectful manner
  • Rigorous clinical data analytics and creative data visualization experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working in Cardiology / Structural Heart Disease / Heart Failure strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in synthesis of complex clinical and market information into key stakeholder-specific messages, while owning the details
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to lead through influence in order to gain cross-functional alignment and rally functions around a common vision
  • Strong analytical skills, superior content development skills, presentation creation, preparation and delivery, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive (and not just survive) in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic work environment while managing competing priorities
  • Willingness to develop creative solutions to overcome challenges
  • Positivity, openness to change, respectful and collaborative team player and excitement to embrace ambiguity

    Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

    For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $170,000 to $241,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience). Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
