The Opportunity 

Cala Health is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to join our team. The role will report to the Vice President of Marketing and will have direct reports.  You will lead the definition and execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Cala’s product portfolio, working closely alongside the development to consistently deliver high-impact solutions. You will lead and shape go-to-market strategy, portfolio positioning, and commercialization initiatives which include healthcare provider and patient journeys. You will drive market adoption, identify growth opportunities, and serve as the voice of the customer to reflect patient and provider needs and alignment with strategic goals. You will foster cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.  You will develop a deep understanding of our patient and physician needs to map the best-in-class products and customer experiences throughout the Cala journey. This role will report to the VP, Marketing and may have direct reports.

The compensation range for this role is market driven, with a salary range of $170,000 - $230,000. Additionally, we offer a robust benefits package. This offering is aligned with our overall compensation philosophy. 

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Cala will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

A Day in the Life

  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs through customer insights and UX research and translate that into a creative and data-backed customer-centric product strategy.
  • Develop deep customer and market insights through VOC, segmentation, and market research.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement new features and services that enhance user value.
  • Define and execute product marketing strategies that drive adoption, market share, and revenue growth.
  • Own product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions across the portfolio.
  • Oversee product launches, market development plans, and competitive strategy.
  • Align marketing plans to business priorities and financial goals.
  • Represent marketing in cross-functional leadership forums and executive updates.
  • Define KPIs and mechanisms and measures that define customer preference and retention

Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in FDA regulated product management and commercialization - upstream and downstream marketing in medical device or related field. DME experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Science or Engineering. MBA preferred.
  • Strong strategic, analytical thinking, people leadership, and cross-functional stakeholder influence.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans and results.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced, evolving landscape.
  • Outstanding communication and organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
