Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Product Developer with 3+ years of experience in the apparel industry to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing product development from concept through final production—balancing speed to market, innovation, quality, and cost. You’ll work cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, and Production to ensure every product meets brand standards, fits, and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the development process from initial concept through production across assigned categories, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and margin goals

  • Fit & Technical Review: Conduct fit sessions, evaluate construction and garment specs, and provide clear direction to vendors to ensure product consistency and performance

  • Sourcing & Materials: Research and source fabrics, trims, and other components to meet design, costing, and lead time requirements; manage communications with domestic and overseas vendors

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to track development calendars, manage workflows, and ensure alignment across departments

  • Cost Management: Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing and maintain target margins; support budget planning and cost engineering initiatives

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to enforce quality standards, identify risks early, and maintain product integrity throughout development

  • Trend & Market Research: Stay up to date on material innovation, consumer trends, and competitive market analysis to inform product decisions

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in apparel product development or a related role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, Merchandising, or equivalent work experience

  • Deep knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and apparel manufacturing processes

  • Proficiency in PLM software (Centric PLM preferred) and Microsoft Office tools

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working with international vendors

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment managing multiple priorities

Location Notice:
This is a full-time, onsite position based at our current headquarters in Bell, CA. In January 2026, the corporate office will relocate to Beverly Hills, CA (90210). Candidates must be comfortable working from the Bell location until the transition is complete.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
