Role Overview:

As a Product Designer at Questis, you will play a crucial role in designing intuitive and engaging interfaces for our AI-driven financial wellness app. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI specialists, product managers, and engineers, to transform complex financial data and AI insights into user-friendly and actionable designs. Your work will directly impact how users interact with their financial information and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Prototyping: Develop user-centered designs, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate financial data and AI-driven insights in an accessible manner.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points in financial management. Use these insights to validate and refine design decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with AI specialists, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI functionalities into user-friendly design solutions and ensure design feasibility.
  • AI Integration: Design intuitive interfaces for complex AI features, such as personalized financial recommendations, budgeting tools, and predictive analytics, ensuring they are easily understandable and actionable.
  • Design Systems: Build and maintain comprehensive design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and clarity across all aspects of the financial wellness app. Ensure that design components are reusable and scalable.
  • Tailwind CSS: Experience with Tailwind CSS is a plus. Utilize Tailwind to streamline design implementation and maintain design consistency across the app.
  • Feedback & Iteration: Gather and incorporate feedback from users and team members to continuously improve designs, particularly around AI interactions and financial data presentation.
  • Ethical Considerations: Ensure that designs adhere to ethical standards in financial technology, promoting transparency, trust, and security in how users interact with their financial data.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role, with a focus on designing complex systems or applications related to finance or AI.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design intuitive interfaces for financial or AI-driven products, with examples of your design process and problem-solving skills.
  • Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar; experience with prototyping tools like InVision or Framer is a plus.
  • Design Systems: Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency across products.
  • Tailwind CSS: Experience with Tailwind CSS is a plus, with the ability to leverage it for efficient and consistent design implementation.
  • User Research: Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and financial application challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical and financial experts.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished, high-quality designs.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with designing for financial technology or apps and a solid understanding of financial concepts and user behaviors.
  • Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ethical practices in financial technology design.
